There. Now it's an official virtual convention.
Here's a lobby for it: happyjacks.org/jackercon

Scheduling permitting and such (busy time at work) I will be there and will run something. Not sure what yet.

I'm considering what game to run for Jackercon. Whoever made the Conplanner, I did want to point out that you have game slots are labeled a bit oddly. Not sure if that was intentional. :-)

Ok, I got us started. Check out the ol' Con Planner. I'll be running my 2S1E winning entry, Blood Thinner Than Water on Saturday evening.
I've nutted up. Now it's your turn, everyone!

Well Done Muntjack! I apologize for the bizarre slot naming...I'm totally open to any renaming the mighty community would suggest. The A, B, C slots came as request from the European contingent to deal with time zone issues.
But have just changed slots to numbers 01-10. Thats right 10 game slots kids...Muntjack got one. I took two just 'cuz he got me all excited and I prematurely enlisted for Jackercon...(I swear its never happened before.) Man, I need to rethink my references.
I just put up a Warhammer Fantasy Roleplay 3rd edition (Fantasy Flight Games). That game will hopefully include a Fantasy Grounds II demo in addition to our google + hangout. It will take a bit more set up but I REALLY want to get people talking more about virtual table tops. Roll20 is nice and all, but you should see what FGII can do...
The second game NOT TO STUDY, NOT TO BRING BACK will be a Dark Heresy game set in the Warhammer 40k universe. I just don't think these settings (systems) get enough love on Happy Jacks.
But! I will gladly retract one of those games if more folks want to run a game. SEVEN slots left.
Cheers,
Curt. (DT Pints) (Mrs.)

I've never played anything in the Warhammer universe. I may have to jump onto this.
There are a ton of HJers, so let's fill up those slots! Multiple games per slot should work out, too!

If anyone is interested I have added a game to Jackercon called, "Just a Little Boat Ride."
One quick question what timezone are the times set in?
Cheers,
JiB

PMT (Pasadena Mean Time) according to the other thread.
I'll need to work out the best slot later but I'll be adding a Demon Hunters game into the mix, not sure of the adventure title yet.

All right. I kind of fell like an idiot here, but how do I use that Con Planner website thingy? I've made an account, and made an "Attendee TIcket" thing, but what do I do now? Is there a way I can see the available slots for the convention, both those that are available and those that have a game in them already?
I'l like to run an Apocalypse World-based game (of course), either Dungeon World or Monster of the Week probably, as they have the most broadly appealing settings. But I need to see the schedule so that I don't create a game in a time slot when it's the ass crack of dawn over here.

When you log in, you should see the con at the top of your page. Click "View Convention" and on the left you should see a "Activities" button. Everything you need to do is there. You can make your own game or find one to join.
Hope that helps!
