Because the idea of the posse gathering in LA for SeptemberCon makes me a bit green (with envy not seasickness). I figured its close enough to two months out to drop a thread for JACKERCON 2013 PART DEUX: "WRATH OF THE PANTSLESS". SirGuido has created a specific forum board to collect all the various games scheduling as an alternative to ConPlanner. But for now just know that THIS SHIT IS HAPPENING... NOVEMBER 8,9, 10.Some definite modifications will be: 1) breaks between games 2) an initial limit to number of games you can sign up for :this rule is mainly to prevent me from being greedy and foregoing sleep AGAIN. 3) a few G+ get acquainted sessions to let new G+ GMs figure it out 4) there currently is no number 4 I plan on running two games: 1) WARHAMMER FANTASY 3E: What's Your's Is Mine! (didn't happen last con it'll happen this one) 2) PARANOIA: DARK DUNGEONS "Jack Chick Wants to Kill All Commies!" Jackercon Part Deux CountdownAnd a tech question: I tried to embed this in the thread but it wouldn't work...any suggestions. It was given as an iframe in html.

I'm itching to run a My Life With Master game in a monastic setting with some nice romantic horror, E.T.A Hoffmann style, and the abbot as master, so that's going to be my game.

I want to run a Fate Accelerated game but I'm unsure of the theme. Any suggestions?

I want to run a Fate Accelerated game but I'm unsure of the theme. Any suggestions? Good on ya! Personally I'd like to play in a FAE game this time around so I'm going to vote for urban fantasy. (i.e. The Nightside books, Gaiman's Neverwhere, the Felix Castor books, Supernatural tv series, Monster Hunter International, etc...)

2) an initial limit to number of games you can sign up for :this rule is mainly to prevent me from being greedy and foregoing sleep AGAIN. I guess this means I can't be greedy either, since I was in only one less game than you!

I guess this means I can't be greedy either, since I was in only one less game than you! Having said that...I want to get as many people playing as possible so I don't want to "cork" anyone (fishing term)ie not leave any openings for interested players. A solution will be to have a veritable cornucopia of games available. So GMs get planning ! But having said THAT...when we get down to say Tminus ten days and counting lets open up the free for all!

I will bite the bullet and run a game, even though I am thoroughly intimidated by all the top-quality GMs around here.
I will run either a space game in Mongoose Traveller, or I could run a post-apocalyptic game in SW. You guys can pick!

D.T. Pints, change the arrow brackets < > to square brackets [ ] and it should work. The markup language used on the boards is a cut down version of html - with the notation altered so haxors can't fuck with the entire webpage by being clever cunts.

There was not a SW game last Jackercon...maybe there ought to be one. Post-apocalyptic mutated chickens ?

I will bite the bullet and run a game, even though I am thoroughly intimidated by all the top-quality GMs around here. If it makes you feel better I am considering trying to run a game, though I have never actually GM'd before. I'm thinking to adapt IKRPG to work without mini's. Mostly because I have played enough Warmachine to be fairly competent with the rules (they are essentially identical). The other idea would be to run L5R, but as I fear comparison the the awesome AP, I kinda doubt I will do that. Of course if I manage to get my hands on something open enough I might try to put together The high space inter-dimensional cosmic adventure of the Dumpster of Wonder (assuming there are enough insane people around here who want to be in a bonkers game of stream of consciousness madness and want to contribute to the Vortex of the Inane).

If only it was built off a VR world instead of HTML, that'd be so much simpler and easier.

As whodo was kind enough to run at a sensible time for us gmt people, I am thinking of running a few games at Friday 8pm gmt and Saturday 11am gmt. That way even if there are aussies missing out they can get in on the action.
Thinking of running Fate accelerated, dungeon world, (cough*mouseguard*cough), and if I can figure out how to make it work, edge of the empire.
Oh and maybe lady blackbird cause is easy as hell.
My gm skill is alright, but could do with a bit more practice.

Allowing themis actually quite dangerous as it allows embedding ANY webpage. All you'd have to do is iframe a page that gives everyone who views it spyware for example. Stu Venable would have to enable it - but the IT security guy in me would advise against it

And there can never be enough Traveller games.
