Hi!
I noticed before the break where the audio troubles got too bad, there was significant hum in the first part. I can remove that hum pretty easily, would it be worth the effort to re-edit the audio for you? I'd be happy to massage it if you want. Let me know!

Thanks for the offer. I'll do it tonight. I was listening on laptop speakers when I spliced it and such, and I didn't pick up the hum. My portable rig is pissing me off.
When I get home tonight, I'll notch it out and re-upload it.
I really need to sit down with Reaper and really learn the software better anyway. It's sufficiently different from Pro Tools to make even the simplest things a big pain.

I usually use Audacity, but I know the guy who runs the Ventchat podcast uses Reaper and loves it. If you get frustrated or anything you could probably get ideas from him. Sound nerds getting better TOGETHER! YAY! And if you ever need it, I am happy to help with stuff in the future too

Quick notes on the 'cast.
I'm about half-way through and I'm digging it.
First the Game is Hilarious! I'm stealing your set-up.
It could be done so many different ways with different actors first one that came to mind,
Tom Hanks in...
...Castaway
...Saving Private Ryan
...Road to Perdition
...Big
...The Terminal
Genius.
The rules.
Wholly shit. The dice mechanic.
It's one of those ideas that is just like why didn't I think of that. It's so damn simple and awesome.
Although I did get a little lost in the Edit. How did the PCs get from the Bar to Planet of the Apes?

A quick summery of what you missed.
First they explored the empty bar a bit. Note, when there are three restrooms that say men women and other, don't go into the one that says other.
At some point they realize people are disappearing out of the bar
Eventually the bartender realizes this, and rushes to a wall with dozens of "Break glass in case of emergency" cases, picks the one that says "In case of multiple Harrison Fords Break Glass" He smashes the case and promptly winks out of existence. Inside the players find a call sheet and a note saying "All Fords must exit the bar and head to set"
When they leave, they are standing in a corn field while half naked humans rush by them.

Oh if you liked it back the kick starter. Hes pretty far from his goal, I doubt he will make it, but worth the try.

Looks like they're trending towards 21k final funding currently*.
*NOTE: This just means that based off current donations. There is always a big boost in backers in the last week or so of the campaign.

Tales from the Floating Vagabond is #1 on the "Hot Items" list on DTRPG ... did we do that?

It's been ages since I've even thought about this game. I ran it for a while in high school and we had a ball. I'm glad to see it's getting something of a resurgence.
