I looked at Legend but decided RQ6 was the way to go. Of course I only bought it for Nostalgia's sake, not planning to run it or anything. So I'm not the best arbiter or taste.

I actually plan on running RQ6. Probably at Jackercon, if I can ever figure out how that works. LOL.

As critical as I've been of Chaosium over the past few years, I am cautiously optimistic with how things are going. Removing Charlie Krank was the best first step they could have taken.

Stu Venable , did you recently say your opinion of 7th Ed was that it was garbage or something? I thought I recalled you saying you strongly didn't care for 7th, but absolutely loved 6th. Am I correct with that fragment of a memory?

Nope. I thought the look of 7th was fantastic. They really stepped up in the design department. But I don't own 7th. I've only paged through it at my FLGS.

Bought it. Its a beautiful book. Hardly even feels like CoC after years of getting lost in the random tables, paragraphs and typos of the old editions that brought me and my players years of delightful terror and insanity. Combine it with Achtung! Cthulhu and you have the future of modern RPG printing layouts. Amazing books.

Perhaps not as pretty as AC, but beautifully atmospheric of the Cold War. - bullgod
