True, but then what couldn't one do in Hero if one were so inclined?

Awesome show. Seems an appropriate fit for Savage Worlds.

As a fan of animation, and the all too often underrated, or at least unrecognized, creators. If your going to talk about Johnny Quest. You have to acknowledge the great illustrator Alex Toth Because he was the driving force behind the stories, the look, and the style. He also did the preliminary designs for Scooby Doo. Remember the creepy intro from the original series? That was all him! Model SheetsCranky genius

JiB, You ran a JQ game at con. How did that go? Any advice for my game? It went really well. I think one has to work extra hard to involve the adult characters and make them more central to the story, otherwise it really does just become the Johnny Quest show. JiB

I think one has to work extra hard to involve the adult characters and make them more central to the story, otherwise it really does just become the Johnny Quest show. Not having played, or really remembering too much of the show... Could it be worth making none of the PCs Johnny quest... maybe making it so that Johnny Quest himself is kidnapped (or whatever)? That way noone has the total light shining on them. Or I guess having Johnny Quest as a supporting role (i.e. the Bard) so that his true power is enhancing (buffing) the other characters. This way yes, he's central, but not the spotlight hog. Just thoughts

Two of them are kids, and two of them are adults. That sort of sets up a scenario where it's hard for all of them to work together towards a common goal. JiB
