Just wait until you introduce that first set of X-wing mini's to a space battle...I truly believe that the child hood commercial narrator "Collect 'em all!" was a very long drawn out hypnotic suggestion that is finally bearing fruit with adults who have serious coin to spend. Fantasy Flight the Games Workshop of the West. But I love them so. *hypnotic face* So what does it mean when I have 13 x-wings, 16 TIE fighters 14 tie interceptors, 10 y-wings, 1 yt300, 1 lambda, 6 TIE Advanced, 4 TIE Bombers, 5 B-wings, 3 Z-95s, 1 HWK-290, 2 YT2400, 1 Firespray..... I believe that could be called 'having a problem' or 'being awesome'. It depends on how cool your partner is.......

Stu, I am so happy to see you get into this system. I have been playing it since the first Beta 3 years ago and I think it is a fantastic combination of Story and Normal dice mechanics.
I thought about writing a extensive explanation of the system at one point when you guys said something about it being a hippie game, but I was not sure I could convey the concept in a concise manner that would work well.
Looking forward to the Actual Plays.

Damn it! I've bought four books, and I still don't have the supplement to make Vulcan characters. Maybe they're not going to be a playable race. You need the "Cylon Sourcebook" to get Vulcans.

The Cylon Sourcebook includes Vulcan (with a cool map of the capital, Minas Tirith), Midkemia, Pern and Greyhawk (whose people thank you for your service). There's also a cool sidebar on the Laundry too.

Damn it! I've bought four books, and I still don't have the supplement to make Vulcan characters. Maybe they're not going to be a playable race. FFG made sure you'll have to buy about a ton more splatbooks before you get a decent collection of Star Wars universe alien races, worlds and ships together. (Yes yes, I'm well aware that you could come up with something yourself or find unofficial additional content online.)

Well yeah. They have to. Otherwise people don't buy books and they go out of business.
