Well, fuck it, I want to run a Mongoose Traveller campaign now.
This is separate and distinct from the "no strings attached" character creation that occurred recently.
Looking for 3 or 4 players who are keen to play a fortnightly game. Probably start with a 5 or 6 session arc and then play it by ear from there.
I am restricted to playing on weekends, but I live in the future (GMT +11), so this covers much of Friday for many of you. Sessions to be a sharp 3 hours.
Game will be set in the Spinward Marches, but I'll let players decide what sort of group they want to be.

Zaph Caliph-Wheel Chair Bound SPACE LAWYER...standing by!
Though I most likely will die in session one. As it probably should be...

As a note - I am not sure about having characters from the "no strings" session..... Unless Kainguru and fredrix both want to play too. I deliberately set that session up as a one off so people could go nuts with no consequences. I wouldn't want to betray the spirit of that session unless we could carry the group through. Then there's the question of what to do with Keith.........

Eleven hours. Nobody lives THAT far in the future! I'm not adverse to some Traveller Goodness, though it others want to play at a more mutually convenient time, don't worry if you have to spurn me. That's SPURN maxinstuff, don't get ideas.

So how would the two of you feel about a similar timeslot as last time then? I know it's easier to commit when it's a once-off so if it would help to move it forward/back by x hours let me know. This goes both for you guys and any other takers who haven't popped up their mangy heads yet. Otherwise we'll assume an 8:30pm London time slot on alternate Saturdays. This is 5:30am Sunday for me, which is kind of good because there's less chance I'll be predisposed at that hour

As a note for anyone in the States interested in this, the game would start at 12:30 PM on Saturday on the West Coast, USA.
Yours for time / date collaboration.

Well that's a bit of a relief. As an exercise playing a character who basically was terrible at ALL things might be fun for a session...but for 4-6 ? Probably not. I could play a few hours later maxinstuff. Maybe 8:30 Sunday morning aussie time ? But I know that starts to break the space/time/co-ordination of several continents.

He's not terrible at all things, he's just incredibly crippled. All you'd need to do is stay away from any hard or pointed surfaces. EDIT: you might also drop some cash on medical care. In Character creation it's 5,000cr per restored point, and if it was in the line of duty, it might have been subsidised by your employer. You don't even need cash, you can start the game with medical debt (although you have to use cash first). Of course it's moot if we have a different group and brand new characters

As per the post on G+ I'm interested. I'm in NZ, and usually game with some other Jackers at around Midday or 1300 NZ time, so Sunday morning should work. With the proviso that I'm away with work for a few weeks in November.

Alright. I reckon if we can get one more, we will be ready to schedule in the first disaster.

Bumping this one last time to see if we can get a fourth :-|
On the plus side, a comment on a completely random G+ post has resulted in me finally being able to kick off a Shadowrun 5e game. First session is this weekend :-)
