I'm running this online, forum-based, play-by-post Vampire: the Masquerade game. It has... taken off like gangbusters, which is completely awesome. I'm so happy with it. I've had to shut down new user registrations (the game has 20 players, 15 of which have been active within the last 24 hours) and with the amount of character stories and role-playing going on, I'm finding it hard to stay on top of it.
So, I think I need an assistant ST/co-GM for the game. Basically I need someone to handle the more mundane NPCs and any rules adjudication related to them ("OMG! I TOTALLY WANT TO DOMINATE THE WAITER INTO GETTING ME A GOOD TABLE! I GOT 4 SUCCESSES, WHAT DOES THE WAITER DO?") and to handle player-generated plots and influence actions ("I want to reach out to my police contacts and bribe them to find something wrong with the new building my nemesis is constructing..."). This way I'm freed up to manage the main NPCs (elders, primogen, etc.) and run the plots and scenes I come up with.
And, of course, we'd bounce game ideas off of each other.
If you're interested, hit me up here via PM or via email to storyteller at labyfire dot org. It's a Vampire: the Masquerade 20th Anniversary Edition game.
Let me know!

Co-GM ?!? I don't even have time to properly play. Those vamps are busy...busy...busy. It would be interesting to get a "word count" on that thing its got to be exponential. You've created a monster doctor.

Sounds like you have an embarrassment of riches by way of your players. I've seen folks on RPOL recruit multiple co-GMs to fill different rolls. I don't know if you've considered the different ways to do this (I hope you're also finding yourself with an embarrassment of riches of volunteers to help you out), but I don't want to pass up an opportunity to pontificate. I've seen over-taxed GMS recruit: - Someone to handle only pure roleplay with minor NPCs (I've done this at times for folks). When a game has been big/busy enough, there may be multiple people assisting in this way. For example, if (as with your game) there are multiple locations and multiple active threads, a single assistant may find it difficult (as a single GM does) to monitor all threads/locations and roleplay all the minor NPCs who might come up -- but they might be able to handle 1 or 2 threads/locations while other assistants handle others.
- Another assistant to handle purely mechanics, because sometimes the "I love roleplaying NPCs!" assistant is a little shaky on adjudicating rules.
- Assistant GMs whose sole purpose is to be a major NPC -- engaged in the behind-the-scenes plotting for an antagonist faction, and when that Big Bad finally gets screen-time actually running that guy
There are probably other categories of assistant GMs that I'm overlooking, but I'll stop bloviating there.

There are several locales with multiple threads going on in each. For the most part he's given us the agency to handle "extras" ourselves if we like - I've added a couple Tremere and developed a Gargoyle that was a side mention from Tim, and it's been a lot of fun not to mention _difficult_ stretching my roleplaying muscles to controlling multiple characters with differing attitudes at once (it's hard enough just having my ghoul around, who is a cranky bitch).
Anyone considering opting in, you're in for a fun ride. We're currently scripting a Coen brothers movie.

You've created a monster doctor. You have NO idea. I mean, it's totally awesome, but yeah. Three-thousand five-hundred forty-eight posts (yes, that's 3,548) right now, and that's not including PMs.

Sounds like you have an embarrassment of riches by way of your players. I am... SO fortunate. Srsly, other GMs should be so lucky. Thanks for the bloviations.
