Attention all Traveller fans!
I'm thinking of starting an official (meaning you can actually buy them) line of books for use with Traveller 2.0. These will be sold as a part of their Traveller Aid Society sets and are going to be full "re-skins" much like I've been doing with Star Wars.
tl;dr = Star Trek: A Piece of the Action
These books will include worlds that are in different era of time than the standard Traveller setting. And by that I mean, I'll be exploring different genre types and settings such as fantasy, old west, steampunk, and so forth - but all within the Traveller rules. These are designed to allow people to use the Traveller ruleset (including character gen) to play a non-sic fi game BUT they will also include hooks to incorporate them into a standard Traveller campaign.
So, here's my question for the Traveller players of the Happy Jack's community. What setting would YOU most want to see in Traveller?

Interesting I just read this; on the way back from our local bottle shop today, I was telling Lily how I've never played a game in one of my favorite genres: Post Apocalypse, and I was thinking about running one using Mongoose Traveller. I realize I'd be tossing much of the system (tech levels would be limited; no spaceships), but I like the system and the CharGen so... What do ya got for THAT? [edit: tagging Bill Roper to get his attention, since he asked the question over a week ago]

The well trodden path of fantasy.
The best part is that when you "muster out" it would be into the best career of all, murder-hobo.
EDIT: I've changed my mind. I want to see Traveller - Uncharted Waters. The actual age of sail. Perfect. It would be like "Sid Meiers' Pirates! The RPG".

Man would that be rough in Traveller (and not in a bad way). Almost no armor. It really gets a man t'thinkin' 'fore he draws his irons.

Well, looks like I'm late to the party as usual! I've been working on a Babylon 5 hack of Traveller. I say hack, but B5 fits Traveller like a glove, so I've concentrated on Psi-Corps, with careers for Commercial Telepath, Psi-Cops and Rogue Telepaths.

Oh god, YES! B5 Traveller! Allow me to wander off to my cool space station bunk.

If memory serves, Mongoose published a B5 Traveller setting, but has since let the license expire and it is no longer in print or pdf. Noble Knight or Half Priced Books or ebay might have one.
