We should get a website organised - front page general guff with a members only area for game scheduling and a virtual poster/bulletin board for game announcements. Aaron A big and obvious bulletin board with the next few gaming sessions on the first page would be nice. And some sort of easy to read global time setting so people can see the local time for games. Most global time conversion sites are a hassel to get working right.

I've used Roll20 for over a year now and it's nearly perfect. It handles basically everything you could possibly want or need. HOWEVER, I have no idea about recording it. I know that lots of folks use Twitch to record Roll20 sessions, but I've never tried and am officially talking outside my understanding of the universe.
Surely there's a way.

I have software that can stream to twitch. I think the main issue here is that if you are the GM, It will be recording YOUR view of things - all your secrets on display.... private chats with the players etc. There is also a not-insignificant CPU and bandwidth overhead to running a live encoder and streaming too. You'd need a good connection and a powerful PC. EDIT: You could record locally to mitigate the bandwidth issue, but then you still have the CPU usage. In addition, if the encoder crashes at any point during your 3+ hour session you are basically fucked

Though a semi-regular all invited, first come/first serve, group chat to would be nice . . . the equivalent of talking games and shit to people you meet at a regular con when you're not actually playing in a game . . . What is the problem with using youtube live? I haven't used it, but I found a support document saying you can still use Hangouts on Air through Youtube live... 1. Go to Live Streaming Events in Creator Studio. 2. Click New live event. 3. Select Quick (using Google Hangouts On Air). 4. Give your live stream a title. 5. Click Go live now or enter in details to schedule your event for later. 6. Use Hangouts to broadcast live. Maybe its because I don't understand the problem, but I'm willing to google anything and post what I find.

Yeah I think the only problem is it's just one more step but G+ can still be used to schedule and link these games broadcast via YouTube live.

Except G+ is a steaming pile. ANyone who knows how to make websites just hit me up and I will happily pass over the domain to point to whatever or however that shit works.

Except Hangouts on Air will cease to exist in less than a week, Step 3 won't exist . . . If YouTube Live supports many of the plugins that Hang Outs (sans Air) has for gaming then that's one problem solved. But being YouTube live means is probably won't . . . Besides if you want to watch the Live steam you need to know which YouTube channel is broadcasting it . . . that means a different YouTube channel for each Game Host to find. Currently each Hangout is already saved to the Hosts YouTube channel but linked from the shared G+ page . . . Air

LOL YOUUUUUU GUYS
Some weirdass IT company form India got hold of my phone number because I bought jackercon.com and they've been phoning me nonstop all week to try and sell me website design services.
I finally blocked their number, they keep phoning when I'm trying to be asleep.

That's the best thing I've ever heard. As someone who gets calls from people overseas often, I'm sorry, but that's still pretty hilarious.
