So my Traveller group can't meet this weekend, so this means I might be able to run a playtest of my Colossus Hunting concept in Hero System. In it, the group will hunt down and try to take on an eeeeenormous monster, with an emphasis on teamwork and strategy.
If there is sufficient interest I can madly prep this for this coming Sunday, October 3rd - 8pm GMT+11 (Sunday morning for most of you).
I'm taking a my primary inspiration from the Shadow of the Colossus game, published for Playstation 2 back in 2005. In it, the player takes on 16 unique Colossi in sequence, with a heavy emphasis on climbing and attacking weak points of the beasts. Here's an example of what I am trying to channel with this:

Updated blurbage:
THE TITAN KILLERS The Titan Killers are bands of fantastical heroes who do one thing - attempt to take down gargantuan monsters!
Highly paid adventurers with very short life expectancies. They may do it for fame, fortune, personal glory, or other more personal reasons. Their methods vary, but all are willing to face the possibility of being squished into paste if it means taking down a Titan.
Titan Killers is a proof of concept using the Hero System 6th Edition ruleset. There are no goblins, kobolds, slimes, or other distractions. Just the heroes, and their gargantuan prey. They must track, approach, and take down beasts that might be several stories high, and sometimes have unusual biologies. Figuring out how to hit "soft spots" is sometimes half the battle, whereas other beasts might just demand a sustained and focused assault. Others yet may demand elaborate schemes to put the giant at a disadvantage. As much of this is down to the specific Titan Killer team and their preferred methods, but some Titans may have some very specific weaknesses that can help the team eke out an advantage.
Unite! Hunt! KILL!

Damn you man, now I'm gonna have to go dig out this game and play it again. SotC had - for me, anyway - the best, most epic, and dramatic video game ending I've ever seen.

Interestingly enough, my regular group's one flirtation with D&D 4E was also based on Shadow of the Colossus.

Sorry buddy GMT-6. We went to a friend's Halloween party and the wifey drank as much tequila as she could get. I couldn't stay awake.
