(0/4 Slots Filled) Polaris: Chivalric Tragedy at Utmost North Friday, November 4, 7:30 p.m. US Central time (GMT -5) Once upon a time, as far north as north can go, there lived the greatest people that this world will ever know. We cannot look upon them as they were, but we can understand them as they die, melting like a snowflake in the sun. For those people are gone now, destroyed, just as the world destroys all beautiful things. All that remains are memories, moments frozen from the flow of time. One of the classic indie games, Polaris aims to weave a story of doomed knights trying desperately to save their once-proud cities from demonic hordes without losing their own souls in the process. I can run this with as few as two players. If you're interested in the game and have a little extra time, I recommend checking out this website for a good overview of the setting and rules: projects.inklesspen.com/fatal-and-friends/mileionaha/polaris/www.youtube.com/watch?v=-4iBY0GradU

(2/5 Slots Filled) UPDATE! I've rescheduled this to a time when tomes can make it (8 p.m. Pacific time on Friday, December 2). If we can get just one more player, we can run, although two or even three more would be great. Should take about 3 hours.

If we don't get much action here, I've got a friend or two who might join us online

If we don't get much action here, I've got a friend or two who might join us online Sure, invite them! If we fill up completely, I'm willing to just facilitate. By the way, unless you have a strong preference for the full version of the game, I thought we could use the simplified rules found here: www.meetup.com/Story-Games-Seattle/messages/boards/thread/50088507It's a good way of getting the "heart" of the game down, and then we could add the more advanced stuff later if we ever happen to play again.

Hey, I just wanted to say that thanks to the success of this session, I've volunteered to run Polaris at a local con at the end of January. So thanks for participating!
