we have a guy who only plays honest and trustworthy but greedy special forces soldiers who started with Dwarven Fighter/Rogues which matched his values and preferred skillset.
we have a guy who only plays lesbianstripperninjas
we have a guy whom no matter what he plays, it ends up being played like a navy seal
we have a guy who always trains in melee combat, even if his character has an Arcane Background
and we have me, who always plays small statured and mostly chaste females, but can at least mix up thier personalities and skillsets. even if it means recycling anime tropes to justify the characters existence.

*sigh* Anime tropes just don't work in every setting. I know we sound like a broken record but it's true. If you can't quit the heroin of the petite magical school girl try the methadone of the petite badass. en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Fiona_GlenanneThis is a small statured, fiery tempered Irish mercenary from the Burn Notice show we mentioned earlier. She is a demolitions expert, marksman, and precision driver.

I was sad when she stopped having an irish accent. It's like one episode in they said "Nah, we don't need character immersion. We'll just say she's Irish."

we have some news on Tropicana
we have the following characters in the group
a Geeky Gamer College Student who plays competitive video game tournaments for money, is outright adorable, and does the social thing. played by myself, a mixed breed female from the American melting pot who is Attending the University of San Jose Abroad and staying with some friends she met online at a shared homespace of some kind and works at a comic store to pay her bills. literally seduced an NPC to gain a weapons permit, a glock and a knife so i am not completely screwed. with her d8 smarts, she speaks English, Japanese, Spanish and Latin. she studied Spanish because it is the language of San Jose, Studied Japanese and Latin to better help herself understand her games.
we have a very social rogue. a local who is wanted in America for murder and has an enemy in the Yakuza
a Foreign gunman. works as a mercenary and owns a car
a Smuggler who owns a boat and is involved in various forms of trafficking
an Archaeologist who happens to be one of my character's teachers at the university of San Jose. wears a leather jacket in the heat and doesn't realize how hot the armor would make him.

An adorable professional geek gamer college student who works at a comic book shop, but carries a gun and a knife, and is multi-lingual. The minute she shoots someone her delicate life is going in the trash, I feel.

The minute she shoots someone her delicate life is going in the trash, I feel. the reason she has a Gun and a Knife is because she has the Cautious Hindrance and is currently staying in a Gang Ridden City. i gave her some fighting and shooting skill because the GM told me that i had to have it, so she seduced a weapons dealer to gain a permit for a gun. i mean, her primary roles are face and geek, and she doesn't have a skill higher than d6, except her agility and smarts, which pertain to her ability to game. and well, the fighting and shooting skills could easily come from Gaming on a Wii. the GM started everyone with 10 Extra Experience points. which is halfway to seasoned. but gave Every PC a free knife and a free small firearm of their choice. and i couldn't deny free weaponry,

when we defeated the mechanist (formerly Paladin Tristan Dawson) by diplomacizing him into suicide with a collaborative 103 persuasion roll. the GM immediately moved on to Session 0 for the campaign that starts on the 31st, we spent 2 hours generating and discussing characters and 1 hour doing some rolls to gain some freebie gear or freebie allies. stuff like rolling for who our roomates were and who our friends were.
the Video is blocked for me.

You... diplomatically persuaded someone to commit suicide? Ooh ohh (hand in air) it's like when an on campus SJW tried to 'Democratically Force' myself and several other fellows into participating in (what I believed) was a very silly protest action - I think I hurt myself laughing at him so hard Aaron PS.it was very very silly and I was later involved simply as the most suitable first aider nearby as one of his cohorts had got his foot sliced open, including the tendon, when a large glass door fell out and smashed on his leg.

I'd say, that as a person with a samurai mindset he wouldn't be bothered by the fact that he was winning a war against people he now believes are not his enemies . . . because at the time you were his enemies and he had " conducted himself honourably in warfare". What you pointed out to him were simply the normal political machinations of courtiers and the like: finding a former foe is now an ally is just the way of the world or else the entire samurai cast would have been short lived as they would all have committed seppuku the first time an Over Lord changed allegiances for political gain. Unless what you are saying is that you were not conducting the conflict honourably and, by realising he was as bad as you, he had to admit that he had not been honourable himself? How often do you imagine former enemies meet as allies on new battlefields? "ah Bronson san, greatly honoured I am to be fighting by your side in this great conflict for, in the past when we were opposed, you earned my respect by being a worthy and honourable adversary. Let us, together, show these dishonourable vermin how true samurai wage war" Aaron

"ah Bronson san, greatly honoured I am to be fighting by your side in this great conflict for, in the past when we were opposed, you earned my respect by being a worthy and honourable adversary. Let us, together, show these dishonourable vermin how true samurai wage war" Aaron we managed to help him realize that some of the things his followers were doing behind his back were rather dishonorable. like his followers keeping slaves behind his back, and how some of his followers murdered innocents behind his back. when we convinced him his AI officers were doing things against his code and provided evidence. he realized that allowing dishonor in his own ranks was as bad or worse than personally being dishonorable. this was also because we proved to him, the the "enemies" he had been fighting, were not the one's responsible for the death of his former leader figure, but rather, something else. and he kind of instigated the fight blindly, only to realize he was attacking the wrong people, the people responsible for the assassination that motivated him were already slain, and by us as player characters. so when he realized he had no vendetta, because we already dealt with his vendetta like 12-14 sessions ago. he couldn't live with the guilt, and well, his war was a personal vendetta, assisted by sentient sapient robots. and the goal he attacked us for, was the goal we were fighting for. which guilted him even more. he wanted to remove threats to the innocents, and we were also removing threats to the innocents, and some of his AI robot followers, were threats to the innocents, even if he himself wasn't. to think he was responsible for allowing so much dishonor in his own ranks, i wish i could explain the whole thing, but it is extremely friggin complicated. and it literally took 2 hours of presenting evidence to an NPC during a diplomatic discussion,
