This is a good point, and an pertinent one. It's becoming increasingly clear that we'll eventually need a final solution of some sort to this goblin problem. I'm not suggesting any rash action.... just think on it. Goblins are sentient creatures with free will, they only take things because they lack a means to learn the skills to procure those things for themselves due to the prejudice of more civilized species. nobody is willing to sit down and teach goblins how to farm, sew, read, write, and trade. and nobody is willing to trade with goblins either. they are pretty much alone and have nobody to teach them, so they resort to banditry. But they'd make great free market traders in the financial world - they've got the basic mindset already . . . acquisition, liquidation, profit. Why invest in making stuff or creating a market when you let others make it and then just take it?. really Goblins are just proto-Gordon Gekko's Aaron

Well, sure, they can be that in your game! And in my game, I run them as faerie subclass without any capital-A Alignment to drag into it. But the argument was that in cases of Evil Alignment, could there ever be coexistence with Good characters? There were a number of neat and complex discussions involving any system where Alignment is a thing. I prefer when it's fuzzily defined, but they were interesting arguments.

Kainguru - Who the fuck is responsible for logistics around here? I am TRYING to get this railway to the east built, but it won't serve any purpose if we can't provide the greenskins with the resource base they'll need. The team were just doing an inventory on the cargo carriages, and all the containers marked "supplies for goblin resettlement" just contain barrels and barrels of...... something. They have a big "Z" stamped on them. It's whiffy and kind of noxious and makes the men dizzy just standing near it. Where's all the grain and tools and shit? And where the fuck did these barrels come from?

What you need, maxinstuff, is someone to make the trains run on time.

maxinstuff - I've spoken to the contractors. Appears the error isn't at their end, seems they're using one of those volunteer goblin labour forces in dispatch. We'll just have to work with what we've got and if it goes bad it's basically their own (the goblins) fault. Think we need to have meeting, and dinner, in the alps to discuss options . . . You never know it might all work out quite well for us. We will solve this Aaron
