Gamestorm coming at the end of the month! I'm not a volunteer or anything, just thought I'd throw up a thread. Traditionally held in Vancouver WA, they're moving across the stream this year so we don't have to worry about sales tax! About the con: 4 days of RPGs, Board Games, and LARP! Panels including Rodney Thompson this year! Game lab lets you sign up to playtest local designers' games and give feedback. More info on their facebook here and their website here. Kinda wish I was better at promotion...

Took a look at their events. Lots of games being run, and a lot of systems I've never heard of. I did find someone running a Morrow Project game. So I had to buy the 4th edition. I still have the first edition that came out in like 1980. en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Morrow_Project

I really like Portland and Vancouver so after a few more years of slaving in the Bay Area I hope to move up there so I was looking at Game Cons up there and there really isn't that many. I have 4 small to mid-sized cons here whose ranges are 500, 1200, 2100 and 3300 here in The Bay Area, those being in order Big Bad Con, Pacificon, DundraCon and Kublacon. And those are gaming cons there are at least 3-5 comic cons and all kinds of smaller cons like Star Trek and those type of Fan Cons. It seems that there is only GameStorm up there. Really should be more Cons up there in the Great North West! Have you been to GameStorm. I must say there we are pretty spoiled here in Northern California with rpgs usually being in private rooms and lots of open gaming space. How is Gamestorm run? Saulster
