The official digital toolset for D&D 5e is going into beta. I've signed up to see if it's a trainwreck or awesomesauce. www.dndbeyond.com

Hopefully it'll be better than the 4E tools, but at the moment, there's not much to get me onboard yet. Keep us posted though!

Lots of controversy it seems on whether or not the content can be used without the Internet. We're assuming WotC will keep proprietary IP stuff on the cloud, and allow SRD stuff to be downloaded. I signed up for beta, which they are giving to everyone, so I'll be sure to report.
I'm a Roll20 junkie so it'll be a biased test.

What was your problem with them? (I only used them up untill they introduced subscriptions) I probably wont sign up to the beta as i doubt i'll play 5E anytime soon. So many other shiny things on my list.
