you can include anime themed tropes in D&D and D&D has a lot of classes that could easily be described as having anime inspired tropes. 5e makes it easier than even to shoehorn anime tropes than earlier did editions did. 5e might as well be the anime edition.

Thanks for splitting off the thread Probie Tim. Though it did take me a few seconds to understand why the website was notifying me about posting in a thread called Fey-touched and magical girls in D&D. I COULDN'T COME UP WITH A BETTER NAME! But yeah, the conversation had taken a far turn from what people (still) hated about D&D. The thread name is totally apt. Just an aside, Guardians of Order did a Sailor Moon book for Big Eyes Small Mouth. Huh. I didn't know that. I'll have to see if I can track it down. I'd really rather do it in Fate Accelerated though. Or Cortex Plus. you can include anime themed tropes in D&D and D&D has a lot of classes that could easily be described as having anime inspired tropes. 5e makes it easier than even to shoehorn anime tropes than earlier did editions did. 5e might as well be the anime edition. No one is saying it is impossible to include anime tropes in D&D. Hell, you can bring anime tropes and aesthetics into any game. All I'm saying is if no one else wants them, don't bring them into the game.

i don't need all the anime tropes to bring a teen prodigy. just bringing a waifish female character aged between 13 and 29 years who can keep up with the older characters in the group is fine, even if the character starts as a teen prodigy or whatever the minimum for that class is, i don't have to roll up a thirteen year old girl all the time, any age in the teens or twenties ranges are fine. as long as the character is small and waifish,

Seems like this'd be a good place to mention the old Guardians of Order game BESM d20. Pretty much it was all their Big Eyes, Small Mouth stuff converted to d20 for D&Ding. It's out of print (just like GoO, LOL) but the Anime d20 SRD (all of the Open Game Content) from BESM d20 is still floating around on the 'net.
And, of course, there's always Noble Knight/eBay/etc.

Got it, ilina. You can't not play a small, young, waifish female character.

Got it, ilina . You can't not play a small, young, waifish female character. it is a compulsive habit born out of really strong preferences and a really strong desire to be a small, young, waifish female. i get bored of male characters and old characters extremely quickly. the contrast of a small, young, waifish female character in relation to a darker setting helps keep me engaged.

I'm half tempted to split the posts about magical girls and what they wear into a separate thread. The fact that you can do this is . . . . Wonderful. Now I can bail out while I still can. I shall treat 'Fey-Touched and magical girls in D&D' exactly as I would treat them in D&D - with a 10ft shitty stick Aaron PS: I really wanna say 'So, Ilina, what's the first thing that comes to mind when I say 'father'?, the first thing, don't think about just say it', but I'm not going there, again. PPS: so many threads have died - good, honest, hard working threads - to this and before this. Let us pause to remember them and the sacrifice they made. PPPS: The word 'fetish' is a reference to some religious beliefs about certain sacred objects called 'fetishes'. It's application in language stems from there PPPPS: 'Engaged' that's probably a euphemism for 'Fanboy Penis' which is a euphemism for 'excited' which is a euphemism for 'gets me stimulated' which is a euphemism for 'riding the white knuckle donkey to creamy town'.

first thing that comes to mind when you say "Father" is "my father is an Irresponsible Deadbeat who had abandoned a mountain of children he made with many different mothers"

Ok, let's keep in mind that people get to play whatever they want to play for whatever reasons they want to play them.
