For a quick dinner last night I cooked up scrambled eggs with toast and sausage patties. I had some leftover Dragon's Breath cheese, which is some awesomely spicy stuff I picked up from our grocery store's fancy cheese section. I cubed it up and mixed it in with my eggs. It was quite satisfying.
And salad? Salad is what my food eats.

More waffles. I think my baking powder might have gone stale, though. I hate when that happens.
Tonight I'll maybe make some King Ranch Chicken. That'll last me a few days.

Mine are usually a pound and a half of steak, rare to medium rare. And baked beans. Those are vegetables, right? And mashed potatoes. More veggies!
TBH, i should eat more vegetables, but my mother's ineptitude at food prep ruined me on most stuff. She cooked vegetables until they were grey and translucent.

My wife really loads the potato salad up on the mustard. It's inedible, in my opinion.

I had more salad today. I am turning into a rabbit. What ingredients has your salads usually? Lettuce from the garden. Croutons. Some shredded cheese. Onions. Bacon bits. A little dressing. Usually some lite stuff.

I like my salads in a bottle. Preferably consisting of hops and barley.
Liquid salad for the win.

I went most of my life thinking I hated green beans and other canned veggies. My mom would just open up the can, dump it in a pan and heat it up. String beans especially were wretched. I avoided them my adult life until I met the woman who became my wife. Fresh green beans, good sauerkraut, yummy peas! All stuff I hated as a kid I enjoy now, only because of the quality of the food and bland preparation.

I agree the difference between frozen and reheated broccoli and fresh and lightly cooked broccoli is astounding.

I agree the difference between frozen and reheated broccoli and fresh and lightly cooked broccoli is astounding. By and large I prefer crisp fresh vegetables just lightly sauteed. So much better than I grew up with. There are exceptions though. Like cabbage, potatoes, peas, asparagus, carrots, and collard (or mustard) greens. All of which I prefer fully cooked. My wife on the other hand... she'd rather everything be cooked to mush. Sigh.
