I think remembering his name would be some kind of... useless trivia.

What was the movie and who was the actress that they were all so excited about for a few minutes during the show?
I was running a half marathon and listening to the podcast, so my brain was doubly frazzled, but I don't think the hosts ever said what and who they were talking about. I tried "rewinding" the podcast, but the only movie name I heard was Pitch Perfect, but I got the impression they were talking about an older film.

I was listening at work and as often happens, I knew the answer then to a question and didn't know it'd be relevant later to discussion But I definitely knew it at the time :/

I don't remember if it was this episode, but I know they gushed quite a bit about Marisa Tomei recently, I believe they talked about her performance in "My Cousin Vinny."

This may have been my ' why don't we ever talk about Alicia Vikander because she is EFFING AMAZING' comment? If so, Alicia Effing Vikander. Seriously, check it: Ex Machina, The Man from U.N.C.L.E. (completely under-appreciated film imo), Jason Bourne, The Danish Girl, Seventh Son, A Royal Affair (Danish film with Mads Effing Mikkelsen), The Fifth Estate, etc.

I didn't realize Effing was such a common Scandinavian name! Ex Machina was great. I will look for some of those others.

Wow... my email was read and this is the first podcast I have been late listening to in years! Oh well.
It seemed like the hosts felt it was totally ok for players to learn at the same time as your GM. I guess it is ok-ish... but I'll tell you, It really didn't FEEL like it. It felt awful and painful. You have to do what you have to do, but it sure is better to learn with at least 1 or 2 people have played before. haha.

gina "Man from U.N.C.L.E." was criminally panned despite it being a very good movie. I think it just got overshadowed in that time when everyone was feeling overdone by the recent James Bond flicks.
