QC Game Fest 2018. Calling all C-Teamers, and anyone else who'll be in those fly-over Midwest states! We want quality GMs, so get your games in! This is the con I most look forward to every year, as I'm a convention staff member here. (We're busting our butts to improve the online preregistration for 2018 and make the site as user friendly as possible.) Get it on your calendar. You've got plenty of time for writing, playtesting and prep. Let's do this!

It turns out I was right. It only took three days for my voice to give out, but by the time I crawled home on Sunday evening I could only croak, and the next morning I still sounded like Leonard Cohen. I'm still basking in the post-con afterglow. Gruel Truck was fuckin' magnificent. It completely scratched my game-show-host itch, and amazingly we didn't receive any noise complaints from the tables around us. I'm totally upping my game next time. My cross-post from Facebook: We've managed to put together a really kickass little convention, y'all. If anybody in the Jackerverse is going to be in the Iowa/Illinois region next April, I can't recommend it highly enough. C'mon out and see the C-Team!
