SURVEY: Are you another player of this game?
1.) Yes 2.) No
If you answered (1), stop being a garbage person and get out of here!
If you answered (2), stick around.
Okay, for those what stuck around after that brief survey, it's AMA time. Since Asa has been the Gangrel equivalent of a hotdog on a stick for the past two sessions, I thought it might be an interesting time do one. I know she's not the most forthcoming character with her internal thoughts and, ugh, feelings (gross), and folks have had some curiosities about what makes her tick like a very angry pocket-watch that could kill you.
I'd do this in character, but we all know that I'm basically Asa on some level anyway.
Hit me with your best shot.

Why the <expletive> are you still hanging around with this crew of hosers that just keep trying to get themselves killed, girl?

Who does Asa like most in the current crew... sorry, who does Asa hate least in the current crew.
What is she most afraid of?
What does she want most in unlife?
Does she resent having been Embraced? Does she wish she could be human again?

Who does Asa want to kill first? Her sire. She honestly mostly just wants to be left alone. She doesn't like Esmerelda, she likes Layla less, but she doesn't really feel a strong urge to kill them unless they get in her way.

She obviously doesn't want to be, but she is actually worried they might kill her if she leaves. Her Demeanor is Survivor, and it's really an act of self-preservation in a really screwed up way. She's also coming to appreciate Riley, and while her Demeanor is Survivor, her Nature is Child. She is looking for someone to be a parent/guardian figure. Riley and Arson are the ones who've come closest to that. Albert tries now and again, but he's so inconsistent and caught up in his own bullshit.

Does she wish she could be human again? Asa prefers Riley most because she has done everything she has promised. Asa responds well to the reward system, but Riley has also reached out to her in the most (surprisingly) compassionate way. Asa is terrified of dying. Real dying. But she's also worried she is going to lose what little she has left to the monster. Asa's lead goal was to murder her Sire for what they did to her, but now she's not really sure. She's found some kinship with the werewolves and that's brought up a lot of questions about what she wants. They're sure a tight knit unit and something very deep in Asa yearns for guidance/companionship. Asa resents the absolute hell out of being Embraced. But I also don't know what she'd do with herself if she was human again. She spent so long scrounging that I'm not sure she would understand what that means anymore.

Have you given any thought to what you will do to Esmerelda for drawing on your face with a sharpie?
Who is this Layla character, and why is she hanging out on the Mote?
Someone Must be punished for stakeing you, who will it be?

Someone Must be punished for stakeing you, who will it be? Esmeralda is definitely at least getting punched in the face, but Asa will also be distracted by potentially still being in frenzy and the physical aftermath of that. (New animal trait.) Layla cannot be trusted. Asa thinks she's up to something but doesn't know enough about the politics of the vampire world to suss it out. Asa knows she needed to be staked, actually. She's more pissed at Albert's stupid ass for convincing her to go looking for fae on a full moon.

Albert tries now and again, but he's so inconsistent and caught up in his own bullshit. So instead of parental figure, he's the mildly creepy, bike gang uncle that focuses too much on your physical development and spends most of his time in lock up.

He definitely seems more concerned with Asa going nuts and taking everyone down that he seems interested in her on an emotional level. She asked for help early on in her own sort of way, but it was never a priority for him even when she was very obviously lost and confused.

How much does it bother Asa that Albert treats her like she's she's just a bomb waiting to explode? Also, fantastic job portraying the child nature. Asa makes a lot more sense now, knowing that. Also explains why my dad mode is always kicking in and making me want to send her to the corner for a time out.

Yeah, she's a total pain in the ass, and the Nature explains a ton of it, but I know the chat isn't always privy to that context. Albert has been driving Asa up a wall. He does this "dad" sort of thing, but treats her more like a dangerous idiot than an actual child. His concern for her is mostly spoken to everyone around them and not much to her directly. He keeps telling her they're a pack, but not really what that means. They're just so similar that it pushes her away.
