YES! FACTS! Thank you StrangeLikeThat for throwing out the whole Alpha wolf thing and edjamacating those who didn't already know about this common misinterpretation of wolf society. As I recall, the guy who first came up with the idea of the Alpha wolf, realized later that the ones he had observed following the "Alpha pair" around, were actually just younger wolves following their parents. Stu Venable I hereby move to grant the Jacker known as "strangelikethat," also commonly operating under the title "Mac," a bonus of 1000 beers for her dedication to scientific accuracy and her humanitarian efforts to edjamacate the general population. If I could have someone second the motion I would then proceed to present a formal petition for a "Grant of Bonus Beers" for the aforementioned strangelikethat (aka Mac). All say Aye?

You guys are delightful! Honestly, I had been sort of pondering how I wanted to run with pack structure since the whole Alpha/Omega thing has become such an intrinsic part of werewolf packs in so much media. But when the players sprung the question on me last night I had to go with my gut. They already have enough stuff they're facing down without adding in dominance bullshit. They're supposed to be a part of Gaia/nature, so why not be more like actual wolves in that respect? Humans are the ones that really have the leadership/dominance issues anyway.

That's pretty much in line with Werewolf's approach to it if I recall. The role of "Alpha" is pretty changeable, in wartime the baddest Ahroun will serve as alpha, on a quest in the spirit world, the wisest Theurge will play that roll, and so on depending on whoever is most fit for the job. Now to be perfectly honest, I can't remember for sure if that's in Werewolf the Apocalypse or Werewolf the Forsaken, but whichever it's from, it sounds like a better way of doing things than having one player be the one in charge all the time. It is a game after all, so fun should always be a primary consideration, and having one player always in charge of everyone else could get annoying for the others, and tedious for the leader as well.

Great character introductions, loved Sam's hat. Trust the cosplayer to costume up. I'm not sure who that Storyteller was, since there wasn't a name label, but She did a great job. I don't think that hair color is natural, though.

The manual for Werewolf: The Wild West definitely references issues of rank and dominance. But I'm pretty much going to let the players do what they want to do. Leadership structure, or lack thereof, is entirely on their shoulders to sort out.

Brilliant! Now to officially petition the Big Man himself! Hey Stu Venable! (Puts on official petitioning cockney accent) ahemhemhem OY! WANKER! GIT ON IT, YA SHITE GOBLIN!!!There, that should do the trick. And now we play the waiting game... unfortunately the waiting game is Powered by the Apocalypse, which for some of us is a bit disappointing.

Now, I don't have anything against people who dye their hair, and to be honest her's looked good at that. So, curious, I asked her what she used to get it that colour. "Oh, I don't dye my hair." she tells me. ... "No. Just... no. Unless you're a bloody anime character, you've dyed it." I mean, seriously. Don't insult my intelligence, right?! And, by the by. Looks great Mac.

1) Please don't hate me. This is just for fun and common sense. Samantha's character must be young or change as an old wolf or her siblings are old because: If she changed at age 1 (15) then spent a year as werewolf so she is now (16) her siblings are 2 years canines (24 already) or Changed at age 2 (24) spent a year as werewolf (25) and her siblings are 3 (28) If fact she should be an auntie by now

The Lupus breed is one of the hardest to really understand mechanically. Like how would a natural wolf react to one day turning into a human? If I let myself think too hard about all the implications of the Lupus breed I'll go insane.

It's just like all movies.
Matrix: Why use human with full of bones when you can use bacterias V : When would Aliens farm Earth for water (H2O) and Human for food? Gas giants have more Hydrogen and oxygen and don't they know about farming animals? Independence Day: Why don't they bombard from far orbit? Moon Landings: Stars are nuclear. They emit radiations on all frequencies 24/7. There is no such thing as a suit that can protect from all frequencies of x-rays and Gamma rays. We need to invent an artificial Magnetosphere (aka Force Field) before leaving Earth's Magnetosphere. (I'm a Telecom Engineer)
The answer: Because they would be no story to tell. People wouldn't be entertain

Naked issue:
Unless the player love their character being naked all the time The issue can easily be fixed by learning the Rite of Talisman Dedication p.211

Naked issue: Unless the player love their character being naked all the time The issue can easily be fixed by learning the Rite of Talisman Dedication p.211 p.211 of which book? I am running off the actual Werewolf: The Wild West book so it's p.174. Lol. I know Nick's character has that covered. I'll let him decide if he wants to teach them. In the meantime, it's an awful fun thing to let them try to deal with. Muahahaha!
