The Mote of Sin has ended.
You can watch it on Twitch (while it lasts) or Youtube. I’ll put up the finale session this week, if I have time. Otherwise next week.
I want to thank Kimi, Stork, Samantha, Jessie, Mac and Tim for a wonderful gaming experience. This was an incredibly dynamic group of players. Definitely kept me on my toes.

For those interested in the GMing aspect of the game, I tried create a scenario where each player would have some sort of closure for the game, whether as a group or individually.
I started with Ezmerelda’s brother, who was searching for a cure for vampirism. There is one, in the Followers of Osiris, which her brother eventually found. This gave me a story seed way back when Jessie joined the game, and though I foreshadowed it, I kept the resolution to the end. Asa (Mac’s character) also had a wonderful story arc with the slaughtering of her sire. It was an entirely unsatisfying event for her character, and props to her for seeing that for the role-playing opportunity it presented.
Layla (Kimi’s character) was the most difficult, and I honestly didn’t know what she would do when presented with an antedeluvian who didn’t want to be a vampire any more. She did what any good Setite would do and brought as much chaos into the situation as she could.
Stork played Albert as a dutiful thrall right to the end, He is a joy to watch play. He takes whatever lot his character is given and goes with it with absolute conviction. I wanted to give his character the abiltiy to follow his path, so I decided that Tennessee’s term as Archon had ended, so he would offer to take Albert to the Pacific Northwest, where other Gangrel on the Path of the Beast could hunt in peace, away from the politics of the Camarilla.
And Reilly (Samantha’s character) turned out to be a most benevolent leader, as any smart Toreador would. She even looked out for the NPCs, telling Calvin to take his fellow Nosferatu deep into the tunnels to avoid Miroslav’s onslaught. I hoped that Sam would roll with whatever story twists I gave her, and she did.
Maybe sometime in the future, I’d like to revisit these characters coming back to the island to unravel some mystery and argue amongst themselves.
