Having recently seen Get Out, it made me think that perhaps there could be opportunities for the original personality of the body possessed by a demon to gain temporary control. You could have player vs. same player mental combat!
Sorry, folks, for my lack of presence around here lately. End of January, my employer outsourced its entire IT department, which included me; fortunately, they'd made a deal with the company to whom they outsourced, and all the IT employees were hired by that company. It was the best thing that could have ever happened to me, but unfortunately their main focus is on technologies and application architectures I'd not been using. So my sole focus has been on catching up to where I should be so that I'm not "the clueless new guy" and I'm actually justifying my salary and their choice to re-badge me.
Since that day, it's been "hurry up and finish the open requests from your old employer" (since they're one of our customers now, and I'm one of their consultants), and "hurry up and learn C#/MVC and all of these other customer environments and custom applications". I've not gamed once or done anything gaming related; all my gaming projects have been on perpetual hold, I've had to cancel HJRP shows I signed up for, I haven't been on the forums, hell, I haven't even been in my own Slack I setup for my closest gaming buddies.
This project's not dead, though. I just... I feel like I have a chance to be really successful at this new company, assuming I can get myself up to speed. And that's my #1 focus right now, everything else comes... well, if I can quote The Karate Kid:
"After." "After... what?" "After... after."

Tim, you totally need to learn to prioritize! What's more important–a lifelong career or running RPGs for people you don't even know on the Internet? Until you make the right choice, though, I wish you best of luck with the new job.
Gillsing: Interesting fact about a movie that put me to sleep the first two times I tried to watch it at RPG cons. The third time I managed to stay awake, and was disappointed. Everyone seemed to like it so much. But apparently it was not for me. Story of my life.
