I've personally never had a problem with power points, but maybe that's because I always GM. Anyways, I read this article about using a die instead of points and I thought it was interesting and I was wondering if anyone had used it, or something similar, in their games? savage-stuff.blogspot.com/2018/02/alternative-power-point-rule-power-die.html?m=1I particularly liked using the die for keeping track of ammo. That seems easier than taking each arrow/bullet

I've seen the idea used in The Black Hack and have to say I really like it as a mechanic, it keeps things interesting while also allowing for some unpredicability to enter the game. It works well with the Savage Worlds approach of variable die sizes, I could also see it working well with Cortex powered games given how assets and complications work.
