So I'm only halfway through the episode, but I needed to share my head cannon.
/* This is not criticism or suggestion */
So, I imagine that Thaïs probably looks too perfect/beautiful for normal human consumption. Which means all the scrunchies and clothing she wears has to do the job of dulling her down. Then she uses her Ascendence move, meaning she is at peek divinity, to knock the bottle out of the boys hand and is immediately hit with the goop that removes all her synthetics.
I have this scene in my head where time, still a little elastic from her move, slows down and gives her a perfect slow-mo hair flip as all this stuff meant to hide her brilliance crumbles and falls away.
Notfornothing, I can not wait to own this game.

Is "This tree hugs back!" a move and if it isn't it should be...
Something about showing kindness to a hostile at risk of taking damage...

Notfornothing, I can not wait to own this game. I mean, CANON ACCEPTED. As long as the moment *after* the perfect hair flip still results in goofy hair-poofing. I love Thaïs, but I think her awesomeness is best when sprinkled with some silliness.
