I'd like to entertain you fine folks by GMing some one-shots of an RPG that promises Ready To Play In Ten Minutes.
I'm also looking to game with RPGers in Australia, mainly as I've been getting out of bed REALLY EARLY on Saturday mornings to game with UK/US players.
The Premise:
When the natural world gets weird and science gets dangerous, the United Nations calls upon the ACTION SCIENTISTS of THE TESLADYNE INSTITUTE. You're a member of a Tesladyne field team, going where others won't to gather data, formulate therories, build fantastic devices and carry out two-fisted (and even explosive) hypothesis testing.
We'll be playing Atomic Robo: The Roleplaying Game, which uses the FATE ruleset (The Dresden Files RPG, Spirit of the Century) and based on the Atomic Robo comic series.
My aim is to:
- get you folks to have created basic characters (core concept, modes and skills) in ten minutes
- come up with a cool action science scenario to drop you into
- enable you to build your characters out (aspects, skill advances, specialisations and key equipment) as you play
- AND build a hypothesis that lets YOU tell ME what's really going on (and then possibly come up with an invention or two that'll help yo save the day)!
Who's interested?

It's happening, folks! Allyson Robinson of Encounter Roleplay (WanderQuest and Project: Athena) fame decided she'd give it a go and I roped an Australian gamer in too!
Details: 7:30PM Friday, August 10th, US EST 12:30AM Saturday 11th, UK 9:30AM Saturday 11th Aus EST
Location: My Discord server (will send link). (I have no plans to record/podcast.)
Characters: Come up with a basic concept. Stick with "exceptional human being" a'la Indiana Jones or James Bond. The game enables you to stat out basics in around ten minutes and then work the rest out in play.
