I am behind on the podcast but noticed you are having a fundraiser. Good on you! Unfortunately, my browser will not open the rainbowroad.com site listed in the podcast notes because it has a bad certificate and the rainbowrailroad.com link provided at www.givemn.org/story/Rainbowrailroading also does not work. Finally, their profile is incomplete and they are unrated on Charity Navigator. I would love to support your efforts and know more about this charity.

We had a discussion on exactly that over on the Discord server. Here's a link to another site... CHIMP-Rainbow RailroadAccording to that site, they put 83% of their expenditures to programs (as opposed to overhead), which is a pretty impressive number in my experience.

Soooo, that fundraiser is a straight up fucking AWESOME idea!!! Massive kudos to you peeps for doing this!
I was wondering, would it just be trolly of me to post a link to this episode along with a brief description of the fundraiser on the White Wolf Facebook page, in the comments section to the apology/non-pology they posted? I realize that a lot of White Wolf apologists would see it, and possibly take offense (ironically) and attempt to throw some shade at your guys, or try to twist this around and make it sound like this actually validates White Wolf's shitty design decisions, but I also think it would give the more positive voices there a chance to participate in the fundraising effort as well. I figured I'd ask the hosts' opinion on this before I did anything.
Also, I'd like to post links to this twitch-thon??? on my own Facebook page and I'm wondering what would be the most direct link to post so that my friends who might not know about you guys can have the easiest access to all relevant information without having to do too much digging. I figure the easier it is for them to get exactly what this is about the more likely they'll be interested.

It may prove fruitful to post about the event on related thread, such as ones from the Darker Days and Midnight Express podcasts. The ratio of sensible/asshole WoD-fans may be better at those places, and perhaps you can encourage them to do similar events of their own. I know Darker Days has a lot of insight into development and playtests, to an extent being a part of the current hype machine, but they also don't shun away from tearing into what they think is shit, be it from White Wolf or Onyx Path.

Re: coming up with diverse NPC traits and mannerisms on the fly, I've been tinkering with analogue random generators to use at the table. One for impromptu NPCs is a deck of cards with adjectives written at the top. Shuffle the deck and draw three cards when you need an NPC, place them so all prompts are visible and hold them together with a paper clip. Name lists are a god-send, grab a name and write it down along with a short descriptor on the top-most card. Keep the tiny stack at the table while the session is ongoing and write it down properly in your notes afterwards. The animal technique is a good one, thanks for mentioning it!

I think it was jonas who was asking about keeping track of minor NPCs, and the crew said you could just say “no, he was always called Bob” or whatever. In Unkown Armies, Greg Stoltze makes a feature of this sort of gaslighting, especially for horror games, but with some caveats:
