Hi! We recently had a player have to drop out of our regular 5E campaign due to work and are looking for some new folks to join us.
The game is Wednesday nights typically every other week in Sammamish at our GM's home. The game is a psuedo homebrew using the world of 13th Age. Each week has been pretty episodic, though it's seeming pretty connected (I'm a player, not the GM).
We're currently in a pirate/slaver enclave where I chose to play a different character as my dragonborn is a little too gung-ho about destroying evil and we needed a group that could sneak around and investigate.
The group consists of a GM with a lot of years under his belt (he's been using old dragon magazines for inspiration) that's both good with humor and building a sense of dread. For player characters we've got a human warlock that has something to do with the hellholes that dot the world, a dwarven druid that's playing her first PnP RPG and has come up with some great solutions to problems (she cast spider walk on a dire wolf she befriended so he could walk up a tower and eat the guards posted at the top), and myself playing the aforementioned justice-enthused Dragonborn.
If you're interested, let me know and I'll put you in touch with our GM.
Gillsing: Interesting fact about a movie that put me to sleep the first two times I tried to watch it at RPG cons. The third time I managed to stay awake, and was disappointed. Everyone seemed to like it so much. But apparently it was not for me. Story of my life.
