Thank you both for continuing to voice your thoughts. T5 seems like it will be a very niche system. Those that learn it will love it and those of us who don't will keep on keepin on with MgT and CT.

This kickstarter looks like a lot of fun for those of us with kids. I backed at the $40 level and plan on running it for my son when I get it. From the Kickstarter Golden Sky Stories is a heartwarming, non-violent role-playing game from Japan, by Ryo Kamiya, the creator of Maid: The Role-Playing Game. It was originally published in Japan as Yuuyake Koyake, and we’re very pleased to finally be able to bring it to you in English!
In this game, players take on the role of henge, animals that have just a little bit of magical power, including the ability to temporarily take on human form. You can be a fox, raccoon dog, cat, dog, rabbit, or bird, and each kind has their own special magical powers. Players will then attempt to solve problems around a small enchanted town with ingenuity, co-operation and friendship. The book is going to be about 144 pages, and will feature all of the beautiful artwork from the original version by the exceptionally talented manga artist, Ike. Contributions of $10 or more will get you the PDF of the game and of any material from stretch goals we reach, and contributions of $25 or more will get you a printed book as well.www.kickstarter.com/projects/nekoewen/golden-sky-stories-heartwarming-role-playing

"I still don't know how to make a character, though I expect I'll find that when I get to the starship design section."
Holy shit that made me laugh so hard!

I've been following a couple T5 dissection discussions on the Google+ communities and the consensus seems to mesh with Stu.
The organization is terrible. The ToC is very inadequate for a 650 page volume and there is no (?!) index at the end. Things often do not proceed in a logical progression for the information. So rather than a process being listed in 1 2 3 4 it often gets listed as 1 3 4 2.
There is a lot of interesting bits in there but honestly it sounds like it's not going to pull me away from my Mongoose books any time soon.
Quite honestly I am somewhat relieved by this - my Mongoose collection has been growing and as such I was loath to have the desire to move to a new system since early on I read on a G+ thread they weren't making a whole lot of effort to make the new system backwards compatible.

Saw this kickstarter on one of the G+ communities I am a part of. These cards look very cool for on-the-fly adventures. I run sandbox games as my preferred campaign and occasionally the play can get a little light. People start BSing and while we have a good time the story doesn't go anywhere. These seem like they'd be a good tool for livening things up a little. Flip a card over if things are getting a bit quiet and see what comes up www.kickstarter.com/projects/jerifowler/writers-storyboards

Glad you like it I still need to adjust the tabbing - it's miserable the way Adobe forces it to automatically order the tabs even though I tell it to let me do it manually. It's like wrestling an octopus.

Going to check out the other series listed here but the Hyperion series is excellent. Those books made me bawl my eyes out in a few places!!

I've heard very good things about it. Have it on my Wish Lit on Steam but don't have time right now so I am holding off for a surge in free time (yeah right).

Okay - well I didn't catch this until now. Let me know if you can't trim these to fit to your needs. I couldn't easily define the paper size - so I created a landscape version with 2 sheets on it. I can tweak it pretty easily - so let me know if these are a little too big (as I suspect they may be). dl.dropbox.com/u/13864212/Traveller/NPC%20Character%20Sheet_Rev2.pdf
