Then there are people who do not support the Kickstarter because the stated goal was met.
If the goal of the kickstarter was to gauge market support for the project, the full cost should have been the target.
The last 36-hours were not very spectacular, IMHO, for a typical Kickstarter - especially when compared with the amount raised within the same 36-hour period of Paizo's eMailing and front page support.
Should a new Kickstarter be launched to finish the project now? Should corporate backers be sought - something the film makers stated was unwanted influence? Should the money be used for effective fund raising for the money required to complete the film and fulfill the quality expectations of the backers?

Yeah, I'm not saying it's the ultimate solution, just suggesting a possible reason for why they went the way they did.
