I love this old adventure, provided its been fleshed out plenty to bring it alive. I last played it 15 yrs ago. I've literally just convinced the group today to try AD&D 1e (they've never played anything except 3.x and above, except for one player who started with 2e - yearh) and I've got to be ready by Sunday afternoon.
Looking for any fresh ideas to help give it new lease of life . . . Naturally I'm going to start them in Hommlet. I'm also going to use AD&D 1e Unearthed Arcana (with errata) and both the Dungeoneer and Wilderness Survival Guides, so any hints about running a group that is experiencing an edition downgrade for the first time would e appreciated??

Gillsing: Interesting fact about a movie that put me to sleep the first two times I tried to watch it at RPG cons. The third time I managed to stay awake, and was disappointed. Everyone seemed to like it so much. But apparently it was not for me. Story of my life.
