So we've had four Traveller session, and finally blood was spilled ... kind of.
The party inadvertently woke a psi while they were in jumpspace, and he took the opportunity to try to take over the ship.
While the party is spread about their posts on the 600-ton ship, they are sending me chat messages telling me what they are doing.
Additionally, I'm sending chats to the players who are being psychically attacked and having their thoughts messed with.
Because of the secret nature of much of the communication at the table, it created a very paranoid feel.
Even when one of the character wrested control of her mind back, the rest of the players didn't believe her.
She's saying, "no, I'm myself now. Seriously, I am." And they're not buying it.
It reminded me about one of the idiosyncrasies of the Traveller setting. When a ship is in jumpspace, you stay there for a week in your own micro-universe. It's an opportunity for a haunted house where all the doors and windows are locked shut.

Nice one, makes me wish I used more technology in my games. Sooo... there was a sleeping psi in the mysterious package?

I've been toying with the idea of a similar "freaky shit happens while you're trapped in jump space" adventure. This really has inspired me, Stu. I'm definitely going to have to run it!
Of course, they're in a Scout ship right now... more of a "haunted apartment," than "haunted house."

I picked up the Traveller book on Black Friday but haven't read it yet. Might have to move it to the front of the pack now.

On one of the shows didn't someone, maybe Tyler (?), mention there was a Traveller website that had touchscreen compatible ships?
Anyone know what that site is?

Not sure.
Dave mentioned that travellermap.com is compatible with touchscreens (or there's a touchscreen-compatible version).

We've been on holiday break for what seems like AGES and I can't wait to get back into this. We've cautiously brought Tyler's character into the group and popped out of jump space smack in the middle of somewhere we don't want to be!
