I gotta agree with Hyvemynd here. I greatly enjoyed Ep11. And, in fact, it gave me quite a few ideas for my own use.
I think that the episode format as is works quite well, and only needs a bit of tweaking. Asking the players to give more rounded feedback would be a great change, for instance. What worked, what didn't, etc. Nothing is perfect, and telling someone how great they are doesn't help them to improve.
A little more insight from the GMs on what caused them trouble, and what they thought worked and didn't work would be great as well.

I'd echo the idea of adopting a more panel-style approach. It would still offer the interaction between fans and show contributors that you're after without wandering off into the weeds as often. If a particular question or idea can be prefaced with specific game examples (in-con or otherwise) that's great, too.

Maybe, a combination of several ideas presented here could be combined and employed for the con show format.
Perhaps, A sober, moderator that would come on after Stus intro to just facilitate and coordinate (not host) the interactions between the panel of hosts (including Stu) and the GMs and players. This person could encourage constructive and relevant RPG discussion, while the hilarious, drunken antics that we all love take place on the periphery. This person would also be responsible for the time used by any one player or GM that comes up to speak. An "RPG-MC-NPC" or a "STU-NPC-MC" lol, you get the picture.
Stu, the fact that so many fans of the show that can't even come to the conventions here like the con episodes just the way they are is testimony to the strength of the HJ fan communities loyalty and the shows fun "personality". You have done a super awesome thing bringing us all together, so, in my opinoin, even if you change nothing, we'll still love it; so any change you decide to make to the con show format will only make it, and the show stronger. Sam.

You are too kind JiB. PREFACE: I don't post as much as I should, but I do lurk here in the forums often, but I have been to every con show since Stu has been doing them; and I have to say that while the shows popularity seems to continue to grow on the Internet, our local little convention (So Cal) community has grown even closer over the years. I used to come to the cons just for the games, I now come to see my HJ friends and be part of this great community. THE CON SHOW: I have spoken on the "Con Shows"a few times as a player and most recently as a GM for the Deadlands/Wild West Savage Worlds games and I always try to provide at least one thing that the listeners can glean from something I experienced. Maybe not everything, but at least one thing. I too agree that a change to the con show format is needed. FORMAT IDEA: Each GM should give a background about the game they ran and some lessons learned; then the players should add comments about how the game was perceived, presented and played. That same GM could add a final thought to close that game and get thought provoking questions from the hosts, crowd, even chat room (if streaming). Longer, more in depth discussions of the issues that came out of these games could happen on later episodes. Sam the Wise as always has a very good idea here. JiB

I like CON shows. Everyone had good ideas but truthfuully I could care less with how you experiment with them.

I think the problem with utilizing the OP mentioned "brain trust" of a group of drunken Happy Jalopies is it sounds like the group is in fully malfunction cat herd mode and the quality of discussion your going to get is more often than not going to derail into Amaaaaazing territory. Fun to listen to, just not any major ideas being created. What about a precast/postcast. Get all the GMs together pre game discuss their hopes/dreams for the con and then having that structure let the drunks ramble on afterwards about what they liked/didn't like. Just a thought. I'm sure the idea of setting up a podcast twice during one con weekend is just thrilling...
