Hello everyone! Quick question Stu and the crew once discussed on the cast donating your old Rpg stuff to military members in deployed locations. Well I have the perfect opportunity we have 2 teams leaving end of febuary, 1 to Rihad Saudi Arabia(Eskan Village) and the other to Bogram air base Afganistan. 3 of my players and many other potential players would greatly benefit from your generosity if you have any questions contact me at
Rwm.edu@gmail.com. subject (donation). Or continue this thread.
Please excuse grammer, punctuation and spelling its not in my job description.

What kind of stuff are you looking for? I'm looking at clearing out some of my old D&D v3 & 3.5 books.

I'd be willing to donate a bunch of 4e books and minis. Air Force myself, spent some time at PSAB back before we went into Iraq. The guys at Rihad actually have it pretty good considering most places in the sandbox.

Mostly core books so that the groups have the basics to cover running/hosting a game. The players in question are for the most part new and just need the bare essentials. It will be easier for them to bring two or three core books rather than 50 different supplements. If you do want to donate please E-mail me. Tentagil = I just got back from Rihad, Plenty of down time for sure haha. The minis will be a fun addition!

My son is in Afghanistan (not exactly sure where) but I'm sure they would love to get some game stuff as well. I will cheerfully send you some goodies as soon as I dig them out of the boxes where they reside still from the move.

thank you Stu for the plug on last nights podcast. In response to Stork it doesn't matter the system or condition of the RPG I assume they are not going to come home in very good shape anyway . And I really hope that the guys aren't lugging around books in their rucks, however Tappy made a convincing "Cover" argument. I would think that they would be kept in the barracks or if your in the Air Force your villa or dorm room (we are spoiled). My only concern is Packing their gear before they leave there should be enough room for a couple of books no matter the system, except maybe Hero but its going to take more than six months for these guys to learn that system anyway. thank you everyone for you support rwm.edu@gmail.com for donations email me for my address.
