So....
I just finished another fine (albeit meandering) session of Sir Guido's game a Gaijin's Guide to Rokugan. Now, I'm looking forward to Radzap getting a game of Paranoia going...aaaaaand I've now played in two of Hyvemynde's Apocalypse World Games. This has lead my caffeinated brain to come up with the idea for
JACKER CON 2013!!
I don't know when it should be or how many days ? But at some point this impending summer I'd like to see a few days of organized G+ games being played by Happy Jacker's. I've met a veritable shit ton of really fun gamers via HJ's and wonder what it might look like to get them all playing a plethora...NAY a veritable CORNUCOPIA of games in a weekend.
Any thoughts on this ?

With a name like Jacker Con we might get some very disappointing attendees when they get there and find that none of the games involve masturbation.

This summer...I don't set my expectations very high but thought it might be a cool way for all of us posters and those yet to post to get together and play some games. I wouldn't have tried apocalypse world or l5r if the opportunity to play via G+ hadn't arisen thanks to great happy jackers. I'd offer to run a couple one shot dark heresy or Warhammer fantasy games...
I think to make it possible we would need 4-6 games being offered and 12+ players to pool from. Just a thought there might not be that many takers. But us up here in the land of the midnight sun don't have many physical cons to go and attend. But TWO days of games with time to debrief and discuss would be fuckin cool with me.
Arbitrary date June 28-29. Subject to change.

I'd be in to play a game or two. I'm not sure how much work is expected out of me over this summer in the lab, but depending on that, I may even be able to run a game. 28-29 June would work for me.

I'm in only if someone runs a GURPS game. I've read the stuff, but never played. Of course. . . . I'd probably have to run a game as well. And I suck at one shot games. . . . .still, would be a great experience.

I thought that I had posted here, but I guess not. ^.^
I'd be interested, but the dates are likely to not work well for me. June is the end of the quarter, and serious Crunch Time where I work. If there is some sort of vote, I would go for something a week or two further out, into early/mid July.
