So, having now played Fiasco I have a couple of observations which I will get to in a moment. First though, the setup.
London 1582 (That's the title of the playset) : Shakespearean London. How much trouble could we get into trying to put on a play right?
Characters: One washed up drunken playwrite (me), One budding and amazingly talented playwrite who is unfortunately a woman, a supremely talented actor who only plays women's parts and the foreign alchemist who loves her despite knowing that she is actually a he.
Observation 1: This game is entirely too much fun. Oh the hilarity.
Observation 2: For this game to work you have to check your shyness and playing inhibitions at the door.
Observation 3: This game is all about the players.
So totally much fun was had.

I've never tried one of the historical playsets. Did most of your group know a lot about the period? How did you feel it affected the game? Also, don't leave us hanging with just the setup! ;D What happened? And what were the relationships involved? Interestingly enough, that set of characters sounds like they would also work really well for a game of Shooting the Moon. (A game I've never been able to convince my group to try.)
