Definitely something we should do! Apologies for not responding to this sooner -- have been off-line for a bit. We're away this coming weekend to visit family in Tennessee, but after that should be spending nearly every weekend until the end of October at Colonial Woods. (I've actually been up to Easton several times the past few weekends to cruise through the Saturday morning Farmer's Market.) Meet-ups near the other end of 611 are also possible. Looks like our regular Tuesday night group is dissolving. So yeah, almost a year later (things went to shit not long after that last post) and I'm finally following up. It's camping season again at Colonial Woods, and we'll be there pretty much every weekend until the end of October (except maybe in September, when I have a trial scheduled). Should we be looking for times when I can buy you a drink at Bucks County Brewery? Or maybe Hewn Spirits? (They're in literally the same building.)

It would be pretty cool to hear about local fans meeting up. Even cooler to maybe make a meet up some time.

I can do Center City (work there) or Northeast Philly (live in Bensalem) during the week, or up near Easton on the weekends (at least through the end of October).

Yea, I'm a Warminster fella. So Northeast is pretty easy for me

So do weeknights/weekdays or weekends work better for you? (You're about equally distant from Bensalem and Plumsteadville which is near where we camp on the weekends in Upper Black Eddy.)

In all honesty, i can work either. My schedule is usually pretty open, weekends are easier, because i dont work on saturday or sunday, but on weeknights im good too, usually have a stopping point from 10:30-11, for travel time back home.
plus no big family commitment, so that makes things super easy to schedule around.

Heh. For us, the kids are old enough we can throw a hotdog into the room and close the door, and figure they'll still be alive when we get back. So who else can we dragoon? ericfromnj ?

I am in for Easton, though weekends are horrible for me usually because I work every weekend (except Sunday night).
Sometimes I get a Saturday night off, but not often. I can check my schedule...

So looking ahead, maybe we should arrange/schedule some sort of meetup at one of the two places bevinflannery named earlier, August seems most likely to me to look for a date. Thoughts?

August works best for me. I have a 3-4 week trial starting September 10th that -- unless it gets bumped -- will have me working nights and weekends until it is over.

What date works best for you all? Like I said, I've an open schedule, especially this far ahead.

I am unsure. Throw some dates out and let's see what can stick. I am wide open except for weekends and Labor Day, though during the week I have kids...

Well, the spouse and I will be at Bucks Country Brewery / Hewn Spirits this evening in Plumsteadville (straight shot up 611), probably arriving around 5:30. Food trucks are Taza and The Meat Wagon BBQ. We'll likely be there until around 7:00 or 7:30 -- the kids get antsy if we leave them unsupervised at the campground for too long, and antsier still if we make them come with us. And given that we're a couple of lushes, we'll probably be back there tomorrow, around the same time, when the Aioli food truck will be there. As for other future meet-ups ... My schedule is fairly open for the rest of July and August, with only rare exceptions. On the weekends, I'll be in Upper Black Eddy -- Friday evenings until Sunday mid-afternoon, able to drive either north towards Easton or south towards Doylestown or east towards whatever the hell is across the river (spouse tell me its Lambertville...?). Weekdays, I work in Center City Philadelphia; week nights, around the Bensalem area -- able to host, or able to travel up to 30 minutes (barring traffic jams). September, things will be getting crazy as the trial date starts closing in.
