Hi

I'm a random dude from Sweden.

After playing in SirGuido's game the last con (great fun was had!) I've overcome my doubts and decided to run a game this time. It will be on Sunday 16th at 20-00 CET/GMT+1. Feel free to ask any questions here or on g+.

I will post some info on the characters closer to the date.

This is the teaser text I put up on the Con page in g+.

It was going to be a simple job. Nobody in Old Hrolmar but the Chancellor Helforth knew the jewel was there, and it was just going to be to sneak in and grab the gem and get out, rich. Right?

Then the gods started meddling in. Simple.

A game about 4-5 lowlife opportunists doing a quick breaking and entering, to steal a big jewel and get rich. Pre-gens will be provided. I will utilize a hacked 5th ed. but you'll recognize things from any edition.

There will be gods, and the fate of the Multiverse and all that jazz. Someone will die.

Random dudes from sweden are generally ok by me! Your game looks fun. I don't know what the time will be because I suck at time zones. I might be able to play. I hope I can.

If I have calculated correctly, the LA time would be 11 am. That should hopefully give some kind of comparison point for USAians.

It should show the time on the event in your time zone. If not I need to figure what setting needs to be changed to do just that .

Isn't is an end user setting rather than an admin setting?

yeah, until you sign up for an event it will display it in the hosts timezone. Once you sign up it will show on your google calendar in your time zone.

Or then again I looked at Savage Daddy's On Air Hangouts and they are displayed in my timezone without signing up for them...Who can truly know the mind of Mighty Google?

You can select the timezone when you schedule the hangout, it displays like that until people at least "maybe" it.

Or timebie.com - that also works.

Or have several clocks on your desktop set to different time zones . . . That's what I do to keep track of family stuff back home

Alright I'm all in for some Sweden run Stormbringer! And now I have to ask stork...what would it take to get you to join us ? Besides the fact that it will be fun to get some of the hosts in on the games. What things about online gaming seem problematic to you sir ? Because I feel those concerns are pretty indicative of the general community that hasn't gotten into playing RPGs online. We will treat you as patient Zero. Go! .

Have the first edition set, but never played it. (My group did play Runequest.)

Looks like you already have 5 confirmed players, so I added myself as a maybe and will check back.

Anyway, would love to play Storkbringer.

Hi there. Sorry for not replying before. I thought I had kept tabs on all posts in this thread... *ahem*

We now have 4 players confirmed, and me a the GM. So, if you like there's a seat for you. D.T. Pints are enticing Stork, but I have not seen him say anything so if you're faster than him...
