There is certainly that element, but they play dress up and hold court, and there are intrigues and plots, so it's a larp. Cheers, JiB And the SCA has been going for far, far longer. JiB That's what I meant. Before LARP there was SCA (even backwater Brisbane had a chapter in '82, then we got The Knights Bachelor who used to forge their own weapons and armour on a home made forge) Aaron

Ah Torg. I loved that system. I was in a campaign that lasted 8+ years, meeting almost every Monday night, same group of 5 core characters. It was pretty epic. I dropped out about year 6 or 7 for school. I knew this pair of guys who would run Torg at conventions and go all out for them. They were the people I tried to measure up to when running a con game. I used to love playing Torg at their table. I lost touch with the one guy, but the other goes around to different conventions running Unknown Armies.
