JACKERCON IV Who's Running What ?

Just curious to see what games people are thinking about running ? Its been a tad bit quiet. A too tad bit quiet.

I'm running a Deadlands Reloaded game and re-running my Red Box game from the last Jackercon (perhaps more than just one character will survive...)

No fancy videos from me (as I don(t know how to make 'em), but I'll be running the following (provided I get stuff done in time and have players):

1) Unnamed Cortex Plus-powered Queen's Blade anime catfight nonsense;

2) Unnamed Cortex Plus-powered LEXX sci-fi soft-core porn nonsense;

And maybe a game of Dungeon World or Monster of the Week. Those will be my fallback games, since they're so low prep.

I'm thinking of running my TPK-fest game (title pending), just gotta decide on the right system. Obviously you want something deadly... and I've decided on Savage Worlds. :-)

Hey people... anyone down for a little online RPG-tool testing sessions in the coming weeks? Like one where various folks share the tools they've used, so we can see and play with various aspects, maybe learn from each other? I'm fairly new to the online arena, and I know there are probably a ton of tutorials and such, but that's what's intimidating me. Would prefer the hand holding (a little bit), or at least someone pointing me directly at things that are currently known to be stable, simple, and fun. (specifically any simple battlemap type thing. And when I say simple, I mean NO GRIDS, just like tokens that the PCs and the GM can move around to emulate the fight, or emulate zones, or something along those lines)

I would love to, but:

I just got a new job (see ya later 9 months of unemployment!) and I'm in the process of moving (out of my in-laws house!) to a new town.

The good news: starting August 1 I finally have some stability in my life.

The bad news: I'm up to my ass in it until then.

But once I have a place to live again, I will be playing and running all sorts of online games.

Do you mean schedule ? Because we've done away with doing that in the forums and just put up the games as Events on the Jackercon page so they all show up on Google calendar in your time zone. Which won't let me link for some reason, but when you are signed into G+ just check Google.com/calendar. The only events scheduled are currently "Schlock Mercenaries" and the entire con itself which spans seven days.

It is way better than trying to do any kind of manual calendar.

I have to humbly disagree - not a Scheduler a Planner : as in a simple one page calendar like the one made previously by IIRC Sbloyd

OK, I'll throw up an event tonight. Will have to be Sunday July 6.

Well, crap. I scheduled my game for the 13th before I realized JackerCon technically only runs through the 12th. For some reason it's showing as extending through the 13th on my Google Calendar.

Should I move it?

And yes, if anyone is wondering - I am running Amber Diceless.
