I got the book on a Bundle of Holding and for a crunchy, low fantasy game (not my usual at all), I really liked it. But I've never played it.

I GMed a few sessions of Runequest II/Legend which is pretty much the same as RQ6. I really enjoy many things about the system. Character gen, magic, defense maneuvers.
I don't think it is nearly as crunchy as people make it seem.

It's funny, as I've just been re-reading the pdf. I LOVE the combat system and the magic systems.
As far as crunchiness, I would agree. It's pretty straight forward and very complete. I'd love to a run a Ancient Greece fantasy game in it.
