So i have being reading a PDF on wild talents to create a game similar to the show misfits, (delinquent teens that manage to get super powers while being forced to do community service). anyways the system just seems a little more complex then i first thought it would, i think it's just how the base will and willpower work, and what they are used for. looks like when you make powers it's extremely flexible that it can do just about anything. but still not sure how many points to use to create characters, i mean i don't want them to be super heroes, but i want them to be super, like a low control over their powers at first.
Any ideas and suggestions would be appreciated

I think there is a WT thread somewhere, maybe it didn't survive the port over to Pro-boards. Failing that, PM Kimi or Fray. They are the local WT experts round these parts......

It's been a little while since I've made a Wild talents character, but I do believe it gives examples in the back of the book. As I remember 250 is the average xmen level hero, 500 would be the most super of supermen. For misfits I'd go 200 or so. Just keep in mind that all the characters should be created by one person (most likely the GM). It's easy to make characters of very different power levels using the same amount of points.
A good way to show a lack of control over their powers would be to limit access to Master dice and hard dice.

My own experience is limited to Godlike, and rom Kurtpotts posts it may be that there's a different in the point structure. But in Godlike, powerful superheroes might have about 70 points to spend on powers, and the majority in Godlike (which I think are most like the Misfits characters had only 25.
