Now the question is when will we get lyric sheets? I've already had arguments with people about lyrics. For example is it "backstory" or "facts to read" and is it "family info" or "family and foe?"

Expanded liner notes (in pdf format) will probably be done and posted by the end of this weekend.
It's: "Don't forget about his back story Both family and foe" on Track 5
it's" "Don't forget about his back story Careers, mishaps and foes" on the SciFi one.

Huzzah! Have just downloaded!
Your timing is brilliant: remember the friend I mentioned who liked the tracks I played for her? Well, her birthday is today, and I'm going to visit her for the weekend tomorrow. I'd like to give her a copy of this album as a present, but I can't figure out how to buy it twice from CDBaby and I don't have iTunes software any more since a couple of laptop crashes ago. Is there a PayPal address where I could send you payment for an extra copy of the album? Alternatively, are you planning to put this album up on eMusic? (I have an account there too, so I could just buy it in both places.)

It's been delivered to about a dozen online music stores, but I don't know when they'll put it up.
It'll end up on just about every site.
If you can't find it in time, you can always buy it later (or just not tell me ;-)

Now the question is... will I be reviled for saying that I don't understand the reference in "Little Pamphlet"? I had thought it was a reference to OD&D but now... I really have no idea.

It's a DnD 4E song, sort of.
The reference in the chorus is about Jack Chick bible pamphlets: "you never knew what hit you when the lock went click, now you're sufferin' like a sinner in a Jack Chick little pamphlet"
The reference has nothing to do w/ DnD, except that once Jack Chick wrote a tract about DnD called Dark Dungeons.
Long road to go for a not-very-funny joke.

AH ok, that's where I was confused... had no idea what Jack Chick was/meant. I feel dumb.

Jack Chick is one of those bible-thumping, hellfire-and-brimstone-for-everyone-who-doesn't-pray-his-way, closed-minded, hatemongering assholes. Dark Dungeons is his most well-known hate comic, but he's apparently released quite a few other tawdry "lessons" as well. Actually, I was surprised to learn that the guy ain't even dead yet - I assumed he'd died off a while back, though I can't really say why.

Jack Chick bible tracts were a staple at my college (Calif. Stat University, Long Beach).
I personally threw away several copies of Dark Dungeons (which are now out of print and hard to find).
Here's the freaky part. The guy who used to hand them out carried an American flag and sang gospel songs while he handed out pamphlets.
Recently, when I was looking up Chick on wikipedia, there's an illustration of him, and it looks A LOT like the guy at my college. Now I wonder if it was actually Jack Chick who was handing me those tracts.
Chick was based in Alhambra, CA, which is only about 20 minutes north of Long Beach.
His anti-DnD tract was nothing. You should read his tracts about Catholics. Virgin Mary cultists...

Oh you where so close to having a signed number 1 original of Dark Dungeons. I was not sure who that was either but when I searched for Dark Dungeons I realized I had read it before.

Stu,
I picked up my second copy from eMusic today. Also, thanks for the liner notes link. "Little Pamphlet" was going to drive me nuts otherwise!

It's now on itunes. Doesn't come up if you search for angryfolkband, but does come up if you search for 'l storked it.' Same issue with AmazonMP3; had to search for the song. Here's hiw it looks on my iPhone- "Angryfolk BandBand" ? I'll pick it up when I get to work, though.

Bought the album today and played it for my wife, while we were driving. She really like the "I Storked It!" song, and thought the story behind it was funny. I thought the whole thing was great.
