I would love to see an occasional topic (or special episode) where the crew builds something in a specific system or a couple of systems to showcase how those systems are alike and different. Example: Create James Bond as a PC (or NPC) in Savage Worlds and in FATE. Or create a setting (system agnostic) from the ground up as a group. I feel like we get a lot of social advice on the podcast (which I love hearing), but since Tappy left, this kind of more narrowly focused discussion seems to have waned quite a bit. Also I'm just really glad you actually have a presence in the forums and have always been so connected to your listeners.

3rded like a boss. Rebuilding stuff with/in other systems is one of my favorite things to do. Obviously because 5E is the end all be all >_> . . . with enough alterations. . .

I was just thinking the same thing and I found this post to add my thoughts to. I would love to see a character or two created, generically, on the podcast and then 'perfectly' translated into every major game that is talked about on the podcast. I'd love to see the same character or party recreated over and over by everyone's favorite systems. It wouldn't be a contest as much as it would be an exercise in system differences. Then we could post all the variations in a sub-forum.
I, of course, call Rolemaster.
Kurt.

Since Halloween is coming up. How about which system makes the best Count Chocula? Oh, that would be a fun game for demented adults: "Cereal Killers" An investigative game where the PCs are "good" cereal mascots (Captain Crunch, The Flintstones, the Cheerios bee, Smacks, etc.) hunting down a cereal killer. All the victims and also potential suspects are "evil" cereal mascots (Count Chocula, the cookie crisp dog burglar, the Trix rabbit, etc.). The different towns could be named after the big cereal companies: General Mills, Kelloggsville, etc. Something good for Gumshoe or Toon, perhaps? P.S. If anyone actually makes this a game, I want to play in it so badly.

Savage Worlds would be my system of choice, by the way.

Some say sweet sugar spoils some, those who seem to float above the rest. Never to get their soles wet, like the rest of us. The ones who have seen way too much. Too much, working the beat in old General Mills. Things that can not be unseen, and yet we thirst for more. Our bowls empty, we yearn for more. Maybe, we all are soiled and spoiled, though some of us not so sweet.
I am Detective Sugar Bear this is my partner Sam, quite a nose on that guy. But something behind it... the kind of nose that knows more than is let on. It all began as we ran into an old informant, Cuckoo Bird. A wiry puff addict. And what he had to tell us set off a chain of events that forever changed our lives. We would have to tell the captain...
