First, and foremost: very enjoyable campaign. Fantastically run and it sounded like a blast the whole way through!
I listened to the finale after having listened to HJR16-08 so that may have colored my thoughts, but I did notice that Stu was ready for it to be over. “OK guys, game over… so about my Star Wars game… the craw is up and…”
Meanwhile the players were still talking about the grand adventure they just had!
If I didn’t know that Stu was waiting for it all to be over I don’t know if I would have noticed or not. I certainly didn’t get that impression from the other games.
As a long time GM myself I have ran games I’d rather not because my players asked and they all wanted to. In all the cases (that I can recall at least) I ended up having a good time regardless, as I’m sure Stu did. At the same time as soon as it was over I was usually like “OK, you guys good? Great! So let’s run the game I’ve been wanting to run….” So I totally get the feeling.
I’d still be interested in an aftermath, or next generation episode to tie up loose ends…
Looking forward to your next endeavor!

Definitely a good ending. Kimi was hilariously on fire: "Wait...you're disadvantaged, roll again." "HAH! 17! Take that!"

We are definitely having an EPILOGUE-isode in which Krosh returns to oversee the wedding ceremony of Orthrend the Skullplitter and Lady Illyria. I assume we can tie up any loose ends in this episode as well, and set the stage all proper-like for the next adventure in Eldemy

In the file named "Episode 23..." Stu's intro says "episode 24"...
Was a file lost?

I think you dropped a file. Look under the couch.
When you ask "what happened last week," the group recounts events that didn't happen in Ep22.
"permission from the queen" "independent wights" "we were sent by your masters" "archers on towers" Bill's character catching arrows
These things didn't happen in Ep 22. The only combat in Ep 22 was the elven wightapede. Ep 22 started with using 'the lift' then they met dwarves and were given fire wagons pulled by bullettes and ended at 2h08m with the wightapede battle (which had no arrow attacks). And they were told to level to 6th.
I think your 'miscount' came from forgetting to post an episode. Ep22 was posted Jan 6.; Ep23 was posted Feb 3. Do those dates jibe with when you played the 2nd-to-last session?

If I recall correctly, one episode didn't go up because the recording was botched and nothing wound up being recorded.

That was episode 16. Did that happen again, right before the finale??

I just went back and listened to the previous episode, announced as 22. And that's events as I recall them.
22 is the big fight with the Wights at the gates.
23 is the finale.

The episode 22 I have is the descent down the shaft to the tunnel, meeting the deep dwarves, getting the Bulette and fighting the crowd of undead that has magic. No dwarven Queens. No wights.

I'm going to check through my files and see if it's there. Clearly the real 23 is missing.

Thanks, Stu. [I'll get back to idle consumption now, as I've made my contribution.]
