Star Wars Biological Threats!

I'm kit bashing together threats for future adventures I intend to run, and I thought I'd post it here to get some feedback and some help.
So the idea is a rival creature to put against the PC's. On first glance it resembles a large mount of plant material .. like a small bump in the ground, possibly camo'd with some wild flowers growing from the top of it. The only hint of danger is a noticeable dip in temperature around it (out to short range).
when somethings gets close to it.. it suddenly rear up .. on short, chitinous legs like a crab or spider and uses the many vines growing from the top and around it's central mass as grabbers. Much like a squid will grab prey with it's tentacles. The creature feeds off heat, so it grabs, and pulls it towards it's center mass and continues to drain heat from it. This causes a kind of flash freeze, making the around around it out to short range difficult terrain.
I based the damage that the vine structures do, off the Cryogen Rodian Whip from pg.44 of Force and Destiny's "Keeping the Peace". Basically it hurts/burns like extreme cold, has a vicious quality, has an entangle quality, and has a range of short.
Everything else seems, mostly, okay to me. But I wanted to give it a kind of healing ability. Where it can suddenly thrust it's legs back into the ground, and rapidly draw out the heat from an area to heal itself. This would again, make everything in short range around it difficult terrain.
But I'm not sure of the following:
1. How OFTEN it can do this.
2. How MUCH it can heal itself for.
3. Should the creature need to perform a 'MANEUVER' or 'ACTION' to do so.
Here's the stats for the incomplete creature if anyone needs anything more. Anyone have any ideas? Does the creature look challenging? Broken beyond belief, somewhere in between? Input is appreciated.

Brawn 4, Agility 2, Intellect 1, Cunning 2, Willpower 1, Presence 1
Wound Threshold 19
Defense [Melee] 1
Skills: Brawling 2, Athletics 1, Cool 1, Stealth 1, Perception 1
Abilities: Camouflage [add three boost dice to stealth checks when attempting to hide or ambush in a forested/jungle environment]
Attacks: Frost vines (Damage 6, Critical 3, Entangle 1, Vicious 2, Range: Short [requires a average brawling roll])
