Hi everyone.
If I have a magical axe vibrating with unholy death magic, does it only deal necrotic damage? Or does it deal both necrotic and slashing? Or do I divide it, saying for example that it deals 1 d8 slashing and 1d12 necrotic?

Assuming it works like a Flametongue (+2d6 fire) or Frostbrand (+1d6 cold), it would deal necrotic damage on top of its normal slashing damage. Keep them separate, because some monsters might resist necrotic damage but not slashing damage (in which case you would divide the necrotic damage in half, but deal all of the slashing damage).

^ | | Yep. It would likely by 1d8+Str bonus +2d6 necrotic (depending on how powerful it should be).
