They just added more add ons, including Mook's How to be a GURPS GM in PRINT! I'm not saying you should support the Kickstarter just to get HTBAGG in hardcopy... I'm just saying if you want to, I can't stop you. (There's been no decision on whether to make it available later after the KS ships as well, but I'm hoping they do. I don't really see any reason not to.)

I'll be backing this because I can't take Stu or mooks advice, even after already owning how to be a gurps gm, about how to limit my fucking options.
DF stand alone set should help constrain me for a session or two. Then I'll unleash magic/thaum/fantasy/horror/etc/etc and overwhelm everyone

Received my Dungeon Fantasy box set today. Also got the GM's screen, the DF Companion and a print copy of How To Be A GURPS GM by some guy named Mook.

I've been away from GRUPS for quite a while, but this got my attention. If I'm already OK with GURPS, is the DF set for me or should I be looking at the basic books and the Dungeon Fantasy pdfs they already had available? It feels kind of like when WotC did those "Heroes of..." books toward the end of 4e that were kind of aimed at beginners, but I don't know if I'm interpreting that right or not.

Hiya, Greatwyrm, It depends a bit on whether you'd ever run anything other than dungeon crawls with GURPS. The DFRPG boxed set is entirely self-contained, a marvelous worked example of fine-tuning the Basic Set specifically for a Dungeon Fantasy style game. It does that exceedingly well... but that's "all" it does. If you might later want to run a spy game, or Star Wars, or Old West, or whatever, you'd probably be better off with the core Basic Set, using the Dungeon Fantasy line of PDFs to plug into that (or working it out yourself) and later using the same Basic Set for whatever else interests you (either by, again, doing the tweaking yourself, or using the pre-made PDF supplements to do most of the work for you).
