Hi all, So, the base character sheet is nice and all, but I really do like having all the stuff I need on one page. I searched around for alternatives and found one that seemed good, but after resizing to a normal piece of paper, the words were all blurry. So, I hopped into GIMP and fixed that shit... and then decided that I didn't like how some of the boxes were laid out. Here is what I cam up with: GURPS Char Sheet 2.0.pdf (250.96 KB). I'm still not 100% sold on this sheet, and was wondering if anyone had any ideas for improvement. Thanks! -GIJoe P.S. I am no artist and have only basic skill with GIMP, so please try and keep that in mind when making suggestions.

Nice! I also like things to be on one sheet, a second page is OK if aren't having to flip it constantly. I also think the default sheets leave a lot of empty space that most characters don't need. I like this.

Thanks! My only concern is whether there are enough equipment slots...

Thanks! My only concern is whether there are enough equipment slots... Eh. Maybe not for a Navy Seals game, but should be fine most of the time.

I love it - much better than the normal sheet. The only thing I miss is a box to paint my character portrait - I don't mind moving the equipment to a second sheet If i can get to flex my artistic muscles instead.
The sheet (especially the lines) looks a little blurry, though.

The sheet (especially the lines) looks a little blurry, though. There should be a space above the skills section. Should I remove the silhouette of the person? The lines are definitely still blurry, as I left them from the original, if the letters are blurry, then try zooming out to 100%, because I tried to get the words as legible as possible.

In my experience, GURPS character sheet optimization is highly dependent on the character it represents. Characters with lots of skills need (duh) a bunch of skill lines that others don't. Characters with powers need lots of space in the advantages section to include all of the modifications and the like. Melee and missile weapon usage will depend a great deal on the game and the character as well.

There should be a space above the skills section. Should I remove the silhouette of the person? I personally think it's better without the silhouette. Then the player can decide if he wants to draw a full body picture or just a giant nose.

Agreed without the silhouette. This might have to be my new go-to character sheet. Nice work!

Well, it's a few days after Thanksgiving, so not as on-time as I would have liked, but, to make up for that, here are four (well two really but two have a fancy background and two don't) character sheets. One of them has a spot for a character portrait, the other replaces this with a spot for wealth and status. Once again please give me any feedback you think of. I may one day make a wpf/C# app that allows for the creation of a modular character sheet! But that will take a while. So enjoy these in the mean time: GURPS Char Sheet 2.0 with Character Portrait.pdf (173.74 KB) GURPS Char Sheet 2.0 with Wealth and Status.pdf (178.74 KB) (Because of limitations on the number of attachments, the two with backgrounds are posted below)

I think I will have to print them out and take them for a testdrive before giving my final verdict, but I think these will be my sheets of choice in the future. :-)

Just had a quick look on my phone. Im not a gurps guy, but ide say to add padding. There isnt enough space between boxes which would make it hard to read.

The problem with adding padding is that then there is less space to actually write stuff, and condensing down all the information that is on a GURPS character sheet to one page doesn't leave a lot of room for padding

All of it. When the sections are too close together it is harder to look at only one section.
Try it, you shouldnt loose much space. See which you prefer.
